mxp is far better than jbl flip,flip3...in deep bass and balanced natural sound...jbl has to much shh shh which i cannot explain in sound high volume
When you mention battery in mah please see volts also ....Max sound has 2200 * 7.4 volts which amounts to 4400 Mah at 3.7 volts equivalent battery backup ...while JBL flip has 3000 mah at 3.7 volts

Just dont go for a speaker for its sound and build quality etc.

i have tried both of them and my genuine review is ---tribit having better base but after long use tribit showing show many problems like battery issue build quality is bad, so obvsly go for a good brand that is jbl which is a perfect package

Don't compare essential 2 to with maximum Plus rather compare essential 2 with stormbox.
Also remember that 10 w mentioning on speaker doesn't mean that it produces sound of 10 w only.
In Terms of quality of the material stormbox is very good then maxsound Plus.
