    Guys. Nailed it.
As the man behind our social media (Hey, it's Dan at JTC!), the majority of our comments etc are positive, but that isn't really the point. Whenever we post anything there is always that social media manager feeling of "will this do well?" Which is part and parcel of the gig, but on the occasion where I have to ask, "will we receive a load of shit?" then you have to say that's a sad state of affairs. As you say, why put energy into spreading that negativity.
Not every post will fly due to some obvious and some not so obvious factors. But it's just crap that I have to worry that someone will receive abuse for their work or that people don't see the impact of their actions. Having to hide or delete comments to try and protect the wellbeing of another person and to stop a thread being taken over by toxicity is a) time consuming and b) a really crap way to spend my time.
There is also an inability for people to be constructive. I actually disagree slightly with Martin that you should take yourself out of the equation when listening. You shouldn't as music is subjective - and that's what people seem to forget. For instance I have Kirk Fletcher on now, some people might not like him. I had Deftones on earlier, again, not everyone's cup of tea. Cattle Decapitation? Guessing people might not like them, but that's fine.
But what links all the above is that they are all skilled artists and bands, the same way that Billie Eilish is a fantastic singer, that Cormac McCarthy is an incredible author and Lionel Messi is one of the greatest footballers of all time.
You don't have to like their work, but you should appreciate their skill. If you do feel you can offer some feedback, make it constructive. Don't just slag it or the person off because you don't like it or because you're jealous. Constructive feedback helps a person grow, toxic criticism does the opposite.
As with Karoly's cover, he nailed it and thanks for covering it!

Really great discussion. I loved the part about trolling and how to better the community. Sharing something you’ve created takes great courage and people should be constructive in their feedback or keep quiet.

This interview is amazing for so many reasons and I'd like to specifically point out how great of a host Andy wood really is. I still remember back in the day when David Gilmour got interviewed and the reporter asked him "so what are these things that you're famous for called bending?" and every guitarist watching just collectively face palmed. Or how Guthrie Govan is constantly asked about the same boring stuff again and again.
Andy Wood really interviews these guys and asks the most relevant questions and urges them to go in depth about really interesting stuff. Like when Martin said just some plug-ins, Andy urges him to give more details. Or even sharing things like his nugget of music the way Andy structured his question was so good.
Often musicians are probably ready to share everything, and have the answer for everything, but hosts don't know how to get those answers out with questions whether for not being musicians or for not really understanding their music on a higher level. Being a good host is an art. These series are amazing not just because of the guests but because Andy nails asking them questions and urging them to be more explicit.

The first time I ever heard Andy was with his sit down with the amazing Greg Koch. I was fascinated to sit and listen to them just having a conversation about the music they love!

Just wanted to thank you guys for doing this. Not only is it fantastic to have such great content during the quarantine, but it's also just incredibly inspiring and cool to hear industry giants like yourself and your guests share their knowledge and experience. To me, this is what music and guitar is all about. Cheers!

Great forum for spotlighting some of the best guitar players with nice deep insight into what makes them tick through great interview questions by Andy. Always emphasizing the musicality factor. Excellent thing for our guitar world. Well done Andy!

TH-cam is great and all that but I miss the Petrucci forum. That was a special kind of guitar community where the absolut beginner could talk to and get advice from some of the top players in the world. And when JP himself would chime in that was something special.

Martin’s signature guitar is a work of excellence in form and function. Hoping to get one some day.

Great Talk, please continue! It's quite unlikely for me to watch lengthy videos on yt, but this one took my attention til the end, because I've found so many things I could agree on and many commonalities in musical taste and experiences. Chick Corea's E Band gig was one of the best I attended in my younger years and I stopped counting the TOTO gigs I joined. Love how the musical community progresses and you are definitely pushing into the right direction.

Learned a whole lot more about Martin here, thank you, and the toxicity of the internet "haters" - Keyboard "bullies", these can cause mental health issues, understanding the responsibility of your comments and how they are taken needs to be understood, you guys are coming out swinging on this subject, its time we all stood up to these negative issues, agree to disagree and do it positively. I love that you are starting to address this in the guitar community. We have way to many horrible people in it , these days we have even bigger and better players to look up to , I am 62 trying to catch up with you guys and its damn near impossible but I cannot but sit back and just admire how you approach music and guitar in general, as community leaders I love you are taking a stance to this negative culture.

Gothic games are awesome, they're super janky, but I remember spending the entire summer at my friend's house playing the series together. It's really cool how in that open world you can do things out of sequence, so if you're exploring you might inadvertently find a key item for a quest that you didn't unlock yet, and then immediately complete it once you find the npc. There's a remaster coming next year as well :D
