The style of that jean jacket is very 80s or 90s, which is supposed to be very oversized and baggy. The color blocking is also really 80s, I don’t think it would look as good if it wasn’t so oversized. It’s very expensive but I think it looks great

I was not sure how fast you get excited about things but since this review and some other critical background stories I find your opinion even more reliable. So thumbs up. I also guess for the jacket you are supposed to roll up the sleeves (like the model did) and even have it more open. maybe that makes it better? I really like the colours there too. The only things that seemed like it was worth the money, were the Hello Kitty house slippers, maybe the Hello Kitty socks and the rainbow glitter rain boots. But I totally agree that everything else was SUPER overpriced, it seemed like everything was 50% more than what it should have been.
I understand what you mean with the denim jacket, but I think the boxy oversized look can be really cool. It's just maybe not what you're used to, since you usually go for pretty/flattering clothes, and it's a bit more of a 'cool', purposely angular and not traditionally flattering look. I love it but I think you'd have to style it a bit differently to really pull it off :) I have a similar figure to you and I held off on buying it too, bc I'm not sure I could pull off the shape.
Shan I think if either of you wore like a cute pastel (probably single colored) bodycon dress or tighter outfit in general under it, the jacket would totally work. I also have a similar figure to Alex minus the height. That said, if you don’t like it with something tight underneath it, it is absolutely not worth it. I could just picture a pastel blue bodycon dress being super adorable with it lol

Count your calories, don't over indulge and exercise regularly, she's not really a fitness/wellbeing channel so that's probably why she won't respond or do a video on it - also, she's so genuine I doubt she'll want to give advice on something health related. Just a thought guys.

Lots of channels do Fitness/Health Journey and What I Eat In A Day type videos and in my opinion you don't have to be a channel of a particular theme to do videos of a subject that your subs are interested in seeing.
Katie M - She actually has replied, only once that I have ever seen, but I have been subscribed for a bit of time now. I’m summarizing but I believe she said that she did/does get that request a lot but she has seen so many others before her share their weight loss story and what worked for them only to be torn apart by subscribers. Far too many intense and heated opinions, theories and sciences behind weight loss and related ‘success’ stories draw criticism rage and bullying often. She also did not/does not consider herself an expert or whatnot in that area, and I don’t think she would ever want to mention something, have someone try that and follow along, and somehow end up hurting themselves (people are dumb as hell - that’s from me). Shame about the knitted dressing gown. I could buy the yarn, and knit that for about £20, it’s a basic pattern, it’s the quantity of yarn and time taken to knit that maybe pushed up the cost but no, not worth the pennies.

Okay I gotta point this out. Lazy Oaf is an ETHICAL clothing brand. And although they might seem like a big corporation, they're not. So yeah Lazy Oaf is more expensive then all those other cheap brands since they don't have sweatshops. Their materials are always so soft and well made and they take care of their own designs. Clothing is not always just materials :) Also I get that not everyone can spend a lot on clothing but just being mindful about it is a first step :D A way to be mindful: buy and item you think will last you a very long time, or try thrifting. Just don't support fast fashion :)

Okay I gotta point this out. Lazy Oaf is an ETHICAL clothing brand. And although they might seem like a big corporation, they're not. So yeah Lazy Oaf is more expensive then all those other cheap brands since they don't have sweatshops. Their materials are always so soft and well made and they take care of their own designs. Clothing is not always just materials :)
Also I get that not everyone can spend a lot on clothing but just being mindful about it is a first step :D
A way to be mindful: buy and item you think will last you a very long time, or try thrifting. Just don't support fast fashion :)

I love this channel. You turning me on to all these stores I never knew existed. In the eighties we were limited. I remember going to NYC, East Village to get our clothes. Trash and Vaudeville is very expensive back then. Keep doing what makes you happy
