I am from Bali I've been following this league since 2019. Forge FC,cavalry fc,and pacific fc is a strong team. I hope many Canadian Premier League teams qualify for the Concacaf Champions. It's just a shame that FC Edmonton has to leave
Unfortunately here in edmonton there wasnt much awareness of the team, despite existing for several years. When a local instagram page (with a mostly Gen Z following) announced the team folded, the most common comment i saw was "i didnt even know we had a soccer team"

Trust me, the next Canadian national team manager isn’t going to be “a big name.” If it’s either Bobby, Biello or Torrent I wouldn’t be against Smyrniotis being the man. I’d take Torrent, too. Herdman isn’t anywhere near the tactician and look what he did with our national team.

To be honest, I think that even the giant Yesli would have struggled to catch that corner by Borges... 😅 Plus, Carducci saved Cavalry many times throughout the season, so he still deserves credit despite this performance.
Playing to your strength and not conceding a goal to a dominant team does not mean playing like shit. It means playing smart. They could have had a goal allowed as the foul called was debatable. Cavalry had at least 4 clear chances to score in regulation. 2 great saves, 2 skies. It's on them and not on Forge to lay the blame.
@@rickzane6433 I would agree with your assement if Forge's MO was low block defending and counter attacking but they pride themself for being the opposite .It was a shocking performance in a final on their home grounds. They didn't registered a shot in regulation time, Jensen looked lost, entire Midfield was out of sync and disjointed and Campbell was non existent in any facet of the game. Calvary dominated should have but couldn't solve Henry.
