Seither weiss ich: Immer noch mal im Online-Fahrplan querchecken, er könnte auch früher abfahren!

I always stay on my seat and read until I see the platforms of the train station. That's the most efficient way, because it means I don't waste any time doing nothing.
True Germans invariably keep standing in the doors after entering - at least until a Schaffner forcefully removes them from blocking the Lichtschranke. Sometimes blunt sarcasm in a burnt-out voice over a crackling loudspeaker will work to remove them as well, depending on their respective levels of intoxication and stubbornness. @@eljanrimsa5843 ja okay, das ist natürlich echt Pech, ich hab mir das eh angewöhnt immer in der App zu gucken und da auch das Gleis zu checken, hatte das auch schonmal das der letzte Zug plötzlich von nem anderen Gleis fuhr.
Aber klar, bei Bauarbeiten ändern sich gerne mal kurzfristig die Fahrpläne, weiß aber nicht ob das dann als zu früh fahren zählt, war ja vermutlich so geplant.

O yea, people who think they're not able to leave the train unless they're not lining up at least 15min before. Same in S-Bahn. Actually people do that in planes all over the world. Standing in the tight corridor for ages until the door opens. Triggers the crap out of me everytime.

I always stay on my seat and read until I see the platforms of the train station. That's the most efficient way, because it means I don't waste any time doing nothing.
True Germans invariably keep standing in the doors after entering - at least until a Schaffner forcefully removes them from blocking the Lichtschranke. Sometimes blunt sarcasm in a burnt-out voice over a crackling loudspeaker will work to remove them as well, depending on their respective levels of intoxication and stubbornness. Always a joy to behold, as it reminds us of Dinner for One. Same procedure as ever.
