I’m 16 and 9 weeks pregnant with twins and it’s so hard being a teen mom because everyone seems to judge you and it’s so hard to just be happy and ask for pictures from the ultrasounds or ask questions because I feel like they are going to judge me for being happy about it and the choices I make I’m not trying to glorify teen pregnancy but I feel like I can’t be happy because all the stigma around the topic and just want a different to know if other teen moms feel the same.
don’t let anyone’s opinions get to you! teen pregnancy is looked at as a “bad” thing but if you are happy and ready to put in the work it takes to raise a baby or (babies) then don’t worry about what other people say, just be happy :) the hard times like these will fly by! It was hard in the beginning for us too. I wish you the best and I hope you have support 💕
People will always judge if u are too young it’s bad if it’s too old it’s bad! God only knows what he does in ur life. It’s gonna be hard because of the age but if u have a great support system and u continue your school and have money to support your baby or at least support for u and baby it should be ok. I was a late teen mom my son is 16 yrs old. So I can easily be ur parent. I wouldn’t want my son to be a parent right now but if it was the case I would have supported him guided him as I do. It just a very big decision and u have to be sure u are willing to stick to it because a baby is a human being. My sister had a baby at 15 yrs old she had us a great support system my niece is almost 18 yrs old and in college! My sister is in the middle of medical school and works full time. She also had two more children who are 14 and 9 yrs old. It wasn’t easy but we all made it work. It’s all about ur support, dedication to ur child(ren) and understanding that it won’t be all great all the time but it’s worth it. Not advocating teen pregnancy but a child is a wonderful thing and life altering experience. Congrats times two

When my friend was 18 she got pregnant was so sad and hurt everyone made her feel crappy and disgusted but I told her you made a choice you were happy with making and a baby was made out of it dont feel bad i know u wanted to go to college and never wanted a baby and all that but you made the choice now you have choices to make she decided to keep her daughter and she had no help she would cry to me to help her just to just eat just to breathe but she got thru it all she graduated did not go to community college until her daughter was 3 going on 4 but now adays you can school online so it may be slow but it is there as an option glad to say when her daughter was 7 she graduated with a degree and begin to work and was glad the people who were supportive were there I never liked the you stupid your dumb all that my friends got for making a choice I agree with jessica dont let no one make you feel bad or worthless remember its a choice and you really have to make sure you ready for it if no help tc all

I was born with a twin. My twin died before the 9th moth of pregnancy and I have a disability. My parents gave me so much. I know it changed their life goes as well. I give you a lot of credit for making this Chanel. I started one in July to share my story.
I get that teachers don't have specific policies regarding student privacy, for instance the way HIPPA would apply to healthcare workers, but it's beyond inappropriate that you were "sold out" by a teacher! The one person you shouldn't have to worry about upholding your privacy, a person you were forced to give that information to strictly because of the position they hold, and they betrayed your confidence. It's really disgraceful. It worked out ok in this instance, but it might have been a different story with another student. Totally unprofessional and inexcusable!

When I was 15, my parents married me off to my childhood bf. Yes, it’s legal, with your parent consent here in Texas. I didn’t want to get married, but they said it was the right thing do, since, I was getting too close to my 3 year, bf. I had my daughter at 17, left her father at 18, came out of the closet at 19🏳️🌈, and finalized my divorce at 21. Everything happens for a reason and even though it’s not what YOU planned, I promise, it’ll all work itself out. Your family is so beautiful, keep your head up, no matter what happens, It all gets better with time. My daughter is now 17 years old, she’s about to graduate 🥲 and she’s the best thing that ever happened to me. I’m thankful and grateful for our relationship, she and I, are the best of friends. 🤍

My first advice is don’t have kids till your married because it’s very hard to be a young parent and it’s very hard for a relationship also .. my nephew was also with his sons mother since they where 14 and they stayed together for about 7 years they got pregnant at 18 and always struggled with missing out on so much as a young adult .. I’m sure it can work out just from a teen mom my self it don’t always work out I’m sure somewhere out in the world teens stay together but I’ve never meet them .. please show me a 40 year old couple that are together since teens and are happy . This comment ain’t for couples that already have kids it’s for young teens not taking care of them selfs and having sex with a teen boyfriend .. send prayers and happiness your ways
My kids got pregnant early my son was 16 and is still together at 44. Elder daughter met her partner at 13 had 2 kids before 20, she is now 43 and still very happy together. My youngest got pregnant at 14 and is 41 now. All of them have only had 1 partner in their lives. They all worked hard own their houses and are respected members of the community. Age doesn't determine what type of parent you are. I was 32 when l first became a granny and love it. My grandkids are all adults and l am waiting for the day l become a great granny.
