@@projectfishinchannel33 Long story but here's the short answer. I rearranged the plumbing and electrical in the engine bay and hopefully fixed the water leak on the steering line. I wanted to take it out the past 2 weekends but couldn't get anyone to go with me. Don't want to go out by myself because none of my buddies would have been able to come rescue me if there was a breakdown. Since the boat is brand new and self built, there's no telling what could go wrong. The river near my house is very remote and gets little to no boat traffic. So a break down could be pretty bad with no help.
@MakingStuff I definitely understand that what state are you in and what river do you run I'm in TN around here we have the Duck and Narrows of the harpeth little further east we have caney fork. There definitely isn't many people here that have jet boats if we are close be happy to help any time.
