I thought it was one of the best episodes of snl in a very long time. It kept me interested all the way through. Not one skit was a miss and I think that is really rare. I’ve recently been going through music from the Barbie movies I used to watch when I was younger, and some of them are really good. I’d recommend giving a listen to Shine from the credits of 12 Dancing Princesses and the songs from Island Princess.
I wish you would check out the performances and some acting scenes from the tv show Victorious. Cuz Ariana Grande acted on that show before she hit her big break with her music. I think. Obviously true ari fans correct me if I’m wrong. Lol

To be fair, that problem she had for YEARS with her pop music, where her sound was great, but her enunciation terrible, seems to have gone away in recent years. She really seems to have worked on it.
It's a stylistic choice Her enunciation was fine on Nickelodeon She actually developed her op voice and sound intentionally It's worked for her It's like SZAs weird enunciation It makes singing voices easier to identify as a trick
Audrey, we all know Ari is famous for her vocal mimicry skills. As a vocal coach, how do you train to be such a flexible vocal mimic? It seems so counter to normal training where you are encouraged to find and create a unique sound where you are recognizable. Obviously, Ari made a point of mimicking awful singing in this clip as well. (The Domingo segment was painful to hear come out of her mouth...it is so wrong that it made my ears hurt since I know how fabulous she does actually sing).
