@@hayek218 These Ki Noh Bi special editions are so hard to come by outside Japan… well - I guess I better go visit the distillery then… 😜👍🏼 Enjoy the 20th edition - and thanks for watching 👍🏼
@@hayek218 As far as I can see this limited edition has 1800 bottles and is only sold in Japan - and since Ki Noh Bi is a highly valued brand with many fans around the world the answer can only be YES… there is always the issue with shipment, local taxes etc, is it worth the effort etc. but apart from that… YUP 😊
Interesting - any particular reason why you are looking for the 5th edition? As far as I can see it was rested in a Caroni Rum Cask - but only 329 bottles were made back in 2018. I can see one on eBay but at 999 euros 😳
@@highongin damn,,, wayyyy out of my budget. I got the 8th edition from Liquid Gold in Hong Kong ( I think it's the official retail outlet for the 8th edition ). The 5th edition, yes you're right, it's matured in Caroni Casks. The thing is Caroni is a defunct state company in Trinidad ( that's where I'm from ). So to get a bottle will be similar to an homage. I think an italian came to Trinidad and purchased the rum division of Caroni and shipped it to Italy.
@@slammerw3 That make sense - then the good news is, that the 21st edition of Ki Noh Bi is also made from a Caroni cask and that one is somewhat easier to get… and a bit cheaper (something like 230€) Still a heck of a price but at least lower 😂 An alternative is to get the Italian gin “Engine” - probably best known for their “oil can” bottle. They have also made a cask version using casks from Caroni. This one is around 80€. Just an idea 😊
I tasted the 20th edition the other day, and it was incredible!
Uhh… the latest version!!! 🤩 How did you get a bottle of that - do you live in Japan?
@@highongin
Yes, I live in Tokyo!

Really?
Does that mean if I buy more, I could sell overseas?

I have the 8th edition. Want the 5th if I can get my hands on it.
