This is yet another ambitious song that I've wrote this time out of love for Hazbin Hotel, I was skeptical to write a song about Lucifer but I took the challenge and I think it turned out very well! I hope you'll enjoy the message behind it and thank you once again to S4M and Ringo, y'all are the homies for real!

BACKGROUND:
"Lucifer Morningstar is a fallen angel and a major supporting character in Hazbin Hotel who made his debut in 'Dad Beat Dad'.
He is the father of Charlie Morningstar and the husband of Lilith. He is the ruler of all of Hell and one of the Seven Deadly Sins, embodying the sin of Pride.
Despite his status as the ruler of all of Hell, Lucifer possesses a grandiose and dramatic nature, acting very over-the-top in most situations. He switches between being silly and theatrical and awkward and melancholic. Like Charlie, Lucifer is ambitious in his beliefs.
According to the "The Story of Hell" book Charlie reads in 'Overture', Lucifer was an idealistic dreamer whose accidental creation of Hell and the subsequent banishment of it caused him to give up his dreams. After he and Lilith separated, Lucifer went into isolation and fell into depression. He coped by crafting and hoarding tons of rubber ducks, spending years in his home.
This obsession also causes him to become estranged from his daughter, to the point where he barely calls her at all and thinks she does not want to talk to him."

Okay but in all seriousness - FINALLY. Like I love all the Lucifer fan songs but most of them are him trying to disway Charlie from her goals and this one is more a protective call over creation and showing he isn't someone to be triffled with especially when it comes to his daughter. Absolutely love this and hope to see more songs (Hazbin Hotel) or just in general from you! Thank you for this unique banger!

I know it's only a small thing but the line "The morning's come and I will rise" because he is the morning star. Lucifer Morningstar. Is great. It also makes it kind of sad that he has to prove himself worthy of their light when a star is light in its own right.
Not necessarily he's not referring to a stars light, he's meaning gods light, he's seen as a holy (light) but when people.mention lucifer they think darkness death etc, so I think he's saying it as the same reason he fell as an angel because he wants to prove he's worthy of gods light something technically no one is, besides his son who died for mortals sins. But thats why it's pride he fell for having pride wanting to prove he's worthy. (Atleast this is my understanding and interpretation from biblical and show

@@ItachiUchiha_1724 she can't too, she was kicked out of heaven therfore she fell, and now with her killing angels there ain't no way she could go back unless she get's redeemed. Lucifer did a good thing that the upper angels disagreed with, therefore he fell.
@@nynphsyt6045 but she DID go back. not permanently, but she did visit heaven. Lucifer is physically incapable of stepping into Heaven, while Vaggie did. To be a fallen requires judgement by the heavenly court, which Vaggie did not get

@@nynphsyt6045 I think its a safe bet that he contacted them either through the embassy in hell. He may also be able to send letters up, but he explicitly tells Charlie that he CANNOT go with her, not that he doesn't want to.

Woah, a Luci song? Never saw that coming. The style of this song is so unique and fits so many different characteristics of both Lucifer and pride! Usually people go for hard rock or uppity pop, but this ..calm(?) .. theatrical(?) approach works so well for how I’d think Lucifer would see modern heaven! A blow up is always false hope, but it seems like this song is definitely helping you grow! Keep making cool songs!❤

I really always wondered what type of genre of music Lucifer’s character song would be, I always thought it was maybe polka or musical type of songs AND THIS JUST FITS HIM SO WELL
The lyrics are just so fitting for him, filled with hate and anger that it turns into pride and vengeance. He looks back at his past and his failed dreams with anger because now he *can* prove himself.
It shows that Lucifer, more than anyone, knows how heaven truly works when you’re the biggest enemy of it.
The mention of their sins- the damn mention of their sins! He finds it so funny that heaven looks down on him for sinning when they’re doing the same.

Lucifer saw so much of the worst of humanity and he’s more than able to spot a sin in a saint. He can see hypocrisy their hypocrisy and bullshit.
“What good are dreams that don’t come true if you don’t bring them to life?” I don’t know whether this is for Charlie.
But how I look at it is basically how Lucifer’s dreams of freedom were considered reckless and troublesome, causing him to be dismissed. So what did he do? Give humanity the free will he and Lilith dreamt for, he made life of his dream.

If you look closely in the show: The Hell is what the World is now of the middle class and the lower class and Heaven are the ones being lifted to higher ranks from Us in this Chaos or Hell - feeling- existence. We are related to their struggles. Years and Years a go; the farmers were the ones that were equal to the powerful. They helped one another. But some families decided to take more then their share and leave Us scraps.
