Running Oregon beach sand to recover fine gold! In this video (the first of four) we talk more detail about the recirculating sluice and how it works! Sorry, battery died as we where recording.
That water is roaring fast.... You could shovel material 😂😂😂😂 my gold cube is probably 1/4 the flow and I use the same scooper your using. And I find using bigger pumps don't help with the micro gold on the beach... I would re run your tailings at a flatter sluce box angle for that volacity 👍👍 See if your pushing the gold out the system 😎 awesome time spent with friends and family 👊
Great advice! And thank you! We had worried about that too; but the gold hog mat system really seems to clean material quick; and our hopper box design helps alot. If I remember there was hardly no gold in the second sluice box. We will definitely try re running and adjusting as needed next time we go out. Thanks again for the advice! Stay healthy friend and finds lots of shiney!
@@hhprospecting7508 wishing you heavy pans, with lot's of gold brother ,that hopper is real nice!! And the genius idea if repurposing the river sluice is amazing 👍👍 I'm using the dream micro mat and find silicone mats increase the gold take home very nicely, I wish god hog would produce a silicone version of their matts
@@scottl3739 I really want a silicon mat for the blue bowl. Also thought maybe the dream mats would be better for sand and micro gold; but the gold hogs are amazing for dredging and highbanking these creeks that are loaded with cobble and clay.
Do you want to completely submerged that pump if not you’re gonna burn it out continuously running it like that

Red and purple sand after storms are good try that to. I’m to old to mine but it’s fun as heck when your Matt’s are full after five buckets
👍👍👍
