Leviticus 13 concering the handling of lepers is a fine comparison to the Coronavirus pandemic. God told Moses to tell the priest all that he said about examining and handling lepers. One commamd was to isolate/quarantine the contagious victims. "Isolate" was used throughout the chapter.

Thankful for Amazing Facts & 3ABN, and so many others that work together there!! I went to camp meeting September 2019 for 1st time ever ,and can say that's the 1st time ever in my life where I went to large group of Christians or anyone for that matter lol and did not run into 1 rude ... person!! Everyone was extremely happy, polite ,funny .Had the best time ever rejoicing with the Lord with all of you!! Yall are all Amazing too!! :)
I met a man when I was around 10 or so. Daddy was in the hospital, and his roommate was a colored gentleman. He was about 105, and had been 5 years old when Lincoln freed the slaves. He had memorized the whole KJV from Genesis 1 to the last verse in Revelation, and could quote any passage you wanted him to recite. He was a very godly man, and I hope to meet him in the resurrection. We were not yet Adventist at this time.
When this man was a boy, it was illegal to teach a slave or any colored person to read and write, even after the Civil War. Yet he learned the Scriptures anyway.

I pulled up this video because I was looking for an Adventist Video, to send to someone, dealing with the origins of the BIBLE. Unfortunately, this video has taken almost 15 minutes talking about every thing else, but this topic. So, I am still looking for a video to use.
it's truly shameful when someone who is professing to be teaching the truth intentionally misquotes scripture in order to make it to say what they want it to say.

Why there are scriptures found together with the other scriptures of the Dead Sea Scrolls not included in the collected scriptures now called the Bible? Who has the authority to decide whether a scripture is of God and not?

In the end the true answer of who decided what books would make up the Bible is God.

On the topic of apparent contradictions/misunderstandings, for a long time i did not understand why people said Jesus was ressurected in 3 days. If you look at the timeline of his death chronologically, he was dead for, at most, 2 days (friday night, saturday the whole day, then came to life sunday morning).
I brushed it off for a long time figuring it wasn't that important, but eventually i decided to do some research, and it turns out the reason the bible says 3 days is due to hebrew culture at the time. In those days they would refer to part of a day as an entire day, so even though he was not actually dead for a full 72hrs, since his death was in effect, at least in part, on friday, saturday, and sunday, they count it as three days. Just in case anybody else was wondering the same thing i thought i would share that bit of info i discovered. (a very basic explanation on my part to be honest, i'd still recommend doing the research on it yourself if you are curious)

The Word of God says we are" no more a people who shall be hid away in a corner ."Just like in Moses's time some came back with an evil report and 2 came back with a report of "faith and trust ? Just so you know, God himself commanded people to be quarantined in the Bible when they were dealing with leprosy. You cannot justify refusing to quarantine by using scripture. Additionally, Jesus himself specifically told us to obey the government no matter what with the ONLY exception to that rule being if they directly command us to violate the law of God, which social distancing does not do. Putting the health of other people at risk to 'prove your faith in God' is an entirely anti-christ like attitude. I would encourage you to rethink your stance on the issue and spend time in prayer. I am in a wheelchair, so I am already at a stand still until my chair is fix. I am pretty adamant on pushing on my own to church. The truth may be taught and laws observed, but I can tell you the love of God is hardly noticed there or given. It is something every follower of Christ should pray is for love. You see the elderly, disabled, and singles struggle when the "pandemic" is trending over another to live another day without regard for others. Truth or not, good law or bad, the president called it a hoax. He knows how the media bends the truth into a lie. Them in Hollywood are pressing the matter, so if they have blood in their belt, what more does it matter to kill off a few more? The Son of God is a testament that security for agendas cost Him His life. People are to repent for curling up to the government. Plus, what are the people of God doing with non-believers? By showing firm, we stand firm as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. People are proud of the health laws they keep. If it is true, it would had showed God's protection and providence in showing a difference between God's people and the world, and though t was 2014, God spoke with me, brother Doug Batchlor. Not just once but more than enough, and I've saw them. They look alike and talk alike. This is how personal they are. They DO live within us, and that is why we are to keep holy. I'm already looked upon as sick, so when the world puts us no different from them, an opportunity was missed to show our faith and trust in God. He is LIVING, and it hurts telling all around me this flu is common and deadly but nothing God cannot stop. My life is speckled with drinking and medicining to curve my irregular sufferings, so when I keep sober and feel pain, I ask for what purpose? It is so my faith is not questioned, not that God can't speak through substance but that the world has no say. Here, healthy people, scared to show the fight God commands them to go through. It is by obedience and His graciousness He protects us. It is nothing we have done or could do on our own to keep alive and well. As Nebuchadnezzar, he was rebuked for thinking he made his kingdom. I can quote about God's healing and Him that can kill and make alive, but what does it do when people do not trust Him? I pray for you, Doug. I hope you pray for me. The weeds and wheat grow together. Our brothers and sisters need to be prayed for, because Lucifer has taken them out and given movie roles and even dancing on videos. The ones that took them out are the people pressing the virus validity. These are Catholics. They were the ones that paralyzed me. How are they to be believed when they are acting as concerned citizens when they sold themselves to be dead? How is EGW pushed as a prophetess or Miller writings when the Catholic Church is making laws and Adventist obeying them? The End Time Events is a book but read the beginning of the a Great Controversy about compromising. Yes, pray. God does speak. Call upon Him by Jesus. We need spiritual discernment and empowerment to know when and where we are to go and be. May God even show we can heal, cast out devils, and raise the dead. The Bible is not mere words but the power that created the world by Jesus Elohim. Christ had none but the Father, so this should be a message when the world looks for a man of leadership. When the devil gets cast into the bottomless pit in Revelation 20:3 why can't he just fly off the earth? Someone please answer my question.
The answer is in verse 2 "...and bound him a thousand years." The word bound means fastened, chained, under obligation (Strong's Bible concordance). The Devil is being restricted to or chained to the pit/Earth during the 1,000 years. God won't let him leave.
Bottomless pit is not a physical place where he is cast. this verse means that Satan will be wandering to and fro in the earth alone because no one will be here to tempt.

2 Peter is warning against false prophets. Then, as an example, he says Paul's teachings are non sensical. They will lead to the destruction of those who are not grounded in the Torah who follow Paul. Hebrews 1:1- Says In the past, Yahovah spoke thru his prophets, but in these last days, we have Yahshua. No one will wee Him again until He returns on the clouds for judgement. We are not to add to the Torah or follow modern false apostles and prophets.

About halfway into the recording, it is said that Revelation came from God to Jesus, then the angels, John and the churches. Putting it this way could easily make it appear that Jesus is not God.

You need to know which book is really "the Bible." Now read this and study this intelligently as the hosts of this program agree you should do. Ask yourself if this is a minor contradiction. This is from the favorite bible of the hosts of this presentation, i.e., the New King James Version (NKJV):
Ezekiel 28:14-18 from the NKJV - "[14] 'You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. [15] You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you. [16] “By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones. [17] “Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you. [18] “You defiled your sanctuaries By the multitude of your iniquities, By the iniquity of your trading; Therefore I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you, And I turned you to ashes upon the earth In the sight of all who saw you."
Notice several things about this passage. The "anointed cherub" is known by Seventh-day Adventists and others to be Satan. Then see where starting in verse 16, things happened (past tense) to the anointed cherub. That includes the anointed cherub being turned to ashes. It is clear from the NKJV that Satan has been turned to ashes and is dead.

That's why the KJV or the Revised version from the 1800s (not the current RSV) should be used. Yes, there are words that could have used a more precise translation, but it is the most accurate versions currently available in the English language (for those of us that can't read the original Hebrew).
@@katiekipe Here is the sequence of events. Westcott and Hort concocted a new Greek text which they secretly gave to the revision committee that came up with the Revised Version (RV). The American Standard Version and the American Revised Versions were Americanized versions of the RV. Subsequently the RV was modified and gave us the Revised Standard Version (RSV) which received the imprimatur of the Roman Catholic Church. Now there is also the New Revised Standard Version of which there is also a Roman Catholic edition.
Here is Ezekiel 28:18 from the RV:
“By the multitude of thine iniquities, in the unrighteousness of thy traffic, thou hast profaned thy sanctuaries; therefore have I brought forth a fire from the midst of thee, it hath devoured thee, and I have turned thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.” Ezekiel 28:18.
So, the RV says Satan is dead just like the New King James Version. Get out your RV and you will find in 2 Samuel 21:19 that Elhanan and not David killed Goliath thus contradicting 1 Chronicles 20:5 in the same bible. Or look in Isaiah 14:12 and you will find that "day star," the title for Jesus Christ in 2 Peter 1:19, has replaced Lucifer. I could give many more examples of where the RV is dead wrong.
As far as getting a bible in the "original Hebrew" goes, can you tell me where I can get one? I didn't think so. Jesus never saw an original first off manuscript of ANY of the inspired writers of the Bible. In addition, most of the ministers who glibly spout off stuff about the "original languages" couldn't read a single sentence in ancient Hebrew or koine Greek if their lives depended on it. The King James Bible of 1611 is the ONLY Protestant Bible in common circulation that can be considered infallible meaning no error. If you wish to get some idea of what Satan has done to bibles, read all the pages on AdventistsToday.com and you will learn a lot.

The Revised Version, the New American Standard Bible, the New International Version (before 2011) and many more say in 2 Samuel 21:19 that Elhanen killed Goliath and then contradict themselves in 1 Chronicles 20:5 where it says Elhanen killed the brother of Goliath.

Sabbath; the Sabbath was made for man. And, the Lord Himself, we're
told, was the Lord of the Sabbath, so He had the authority, in areas as far as
how we would observe that commandment.
What your brother-in-law may not
understand is that the Catholic Church did not change that commandment. The
Catholic Church observes the commandment to keep holy the Lo- . . . the
Sabbath, but it does so on the Lord's Day, and the earliest Christians
transferred their observance of that commandment from Saturday to Sunday.
First of all, because there was a distinct
break between the Old Testament requirements: the rituals and Mosaic covenant
demands dealing with the Sabbath worship and animal sacrifices, and that sort
of thing. And they wanted to show that Christianity was distinct from Judaism.
It came from Judaism, but it was distinct from it. Uh, celebrating the
Lord's coming, I'm sorry, celebrating the Lord's resurrection and death on the
day that He rose from the dead seemed to be the most appropriate.
Uh, the other thing that we should
remember, too, is that our calendar that we follow, including Seventh-day
Adventists, is not only a calendar that was devised by the Catholic Church, but
also it is a calendar that's based upon the solar year, not the lunar year. And
the Jewish calendar that was observed in the time of Christ is, follows a lunar
calendar, which is several days short of the solar calendar. So the great irony
is that even the Seventh-day Adventists themselves are not worshiping on
exactly the same Sabbath day as the Jews of the time of Christ, because it's
several days off now, uh, having, uh, switched to [from?] following the lunar
calendar.

Just so you know, that logic doesn't hold up. Yes, the lunar calendar is different from the Gregorian/solar calendar, but that does not affect whether or not a day is sabbath, because both calendars have the same days the same. Whether a day is march 1 or march 8 doesn't change whether or not it's a sabbath, you see what i'm saying? The days of the week are identical in both forms of calendar.
It’s funny what our belief system does, if we choose to believe lies or whether we chose to believe the truth, that’s where it all begins or ends. I’m not going to say you are completely misguided because it’s something you are currently choosing to not see. Likewise, for myself believing in The Sabbath, believing in God’s Word, I’m not going to try and tell you because in that same breath, it’s something you are currently choosing to ignore.
While we are all here, he have to co-exist and respect each other, that’s how the Love of God is shown, and while we exist together-He who prays and worship the true and Living God, let them pray and our True and Living God will intercede. It’s not our job to judge each other for our beliefs, it is God’s.
in the book of isiah, GOD said there is no other GOD besides GOD ,GOD knoweth none, and in the book of Hebrews GOD calls Jesus GOD . this look as a contradiction.But i do accept and believe the scriptures
I read the same thing when i studied isaiah. The i read John 1 verse one and genesis 1vs 1-3. Jesus is the word . So i was even more confused and wanted to know more. then when i was watching Doug's shows, he pointed out a book that really opened my eyes to who God is. its called Trinity God one or three. you can find it on the amazing facts website. its free for download or they can mail you the book. I highly recommend you give it a read. through prayer and study I know who God is and fell closer to him. May God bless you

gordo 1 you ever read genesis. If you do you’ll see that during creation God refers to himself as us and it points to him talking to himself. Trinity is the only way to explain that. Just thought I’d let you know.

Im an SDA and study the bible as well. Christianity is not a deception of Satan. To be a christian is to be christ like or like jesus. The entire bible is God's plan of salvation. Christ is the way the truth and the life. No one goes to the father except through him.John 3:16, 17" through him we are saved". "by his stripes we are healed." isaiah 53:3-7. Christianity came about by being a follower of jesus. Sure satan has used his agents to twist christianity,but you shouldn't dismiss it because of a few bad apples. The bible says in Proverbs 3 vs 5,6 "Trust in the lord with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. In all way acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths." There is no salvation without Jesus. Any teaching that is not backed by scripture is false. If you study the word of god and allow the holy spirit to lead you, you will see the truth.
