I think the hate is from those rush buyers who bought at $130 from start. Definitely I would not touch this blaster if even selling at $90. But I just bought it few days ago at less than $50 including taxes and shipping. I absolutely love it for all the power and appearance of it. For that price, it a steal.
I’ve had mine since March and loved it then , I wish I would have posted about it sooner . All these big TH-camrs except Walcom hated on it . From there on it didn’t get the love it deserved. Just like thick girls . A few years ago everybody was hatin on em . Now that’s all you hear is thick girl this thick girl that 😂
Stock, my mk1.2's air seal is atrocious. I opened it up and used some plumber's tape around the plunger head to increase the seal on that end, but it's still terrible. Seeing the seal on yours with the barrel just confirms it for me that the stock barrel is the problem.
Thanks Big Dawg, i got one for $40 and love it so far. Was debating what to do and you got me trying 17.5" of Kury barrel right now. Was getting 200-210 stock w a crappy seal.. btw the Jurassic Pro w 4or5 inches longer barrel gets around 170-180 w the sickest seal of any of my blasters. Thanks for content bro keep it up man.
tbh i love my mk 1.2. i want to put the dartguide back in because i want a higher power long dart blaster. pulling out the dart guide caused non-stop long dart misfeeds. people hate on this cause of the DZP tournament, and i can see why for that reason. overall, $40 for this is insane.
Hmmm I never really shot it much without dart guide, but you’re absolutely right I tried it with long darts and it didn’t feed right for 2 of the 5 shots . Good stuff man!

I got one for free, thankfully, but my biggest issue may sound stupid, but the rubber grip on mine is fairly loose so it rotates around the grip when I hold it
SWEET! I'm glad to see more love for the MK-1.2! I personally still prefer the MK-4 overall (which I guess is also somewhat controversial lol) But I REALLY do like the 1.2! It offers so much good! If the MK-1.3 features an easier spring swap, and ships with a bigger stock, It'll be hard to beat!
I got this blaster as well on the recent sale and it's amazing the easiest mods get you good return and I did try it with the nexus spring and the prime is buttery
I think I’ll keep one of them with the nexus spring and the other stock . I think after the quirks it’s a better blaster than dzp could have anticipated
i talked myself outta getting one for several days now, but today I said eff it let just get it on amazon, guess what? Its no longer listed, they mustve sold it all.....oh well.
just picked one up. at 40 bucks it's cheaper than a nexus so why not. even if i gotta throw a worker stock and kuryaka barrel and a pic rail adapter or red dot on it, it's still less expensive than similar mods on a max stryker or nexus, and since the 1.2 was selling so poorly DZ took the 1.1 off the market, so really it's the best option at the price. if it goes back over 60 though, consider it less.
I actually do quite like the MK 1.2, and it’s great that the price has been dropped. I don’t own one, but I have used one, and it’s very comfortable with smooth operation. really its only issue is the stock.
At the time when I got mine for $80 was still decent deal imo . The trion was out but had many issues . The unicorn wasn’t out yet I may have got that instead . But this blaster is even more consistent than my harrier

Yeah I did nothing at all on the plunger side , the new barrel sealed and it’s perfect

Replaced stock with the max Stryker stock and it fixed alot of the problems people complained about

I hear you on that mine feels loose too and it’s definitely a gripe , I eventually want to do a leather or a better wrap on that.

How did you secure the front section of the new barrel?
I measured the barrel from the inside when I had it apart and then wrapped it with electric tape right at where it went through to act as a stop
