I recall the story of a journalist who walked into a party and said "I'm sorry I'm late but the submarine was delayed and it's a pain to park one around here."
Refract ミラー 404 , I don’t think it would help much. There are not enough services, the volume of customers being transported are not many. I’m thinking of trying it from Greenwich to Westminster. Just to try something different and pretend to be a tourist.
Hello... oh wow this is from 12 years ago! :) i cant seem to figure out the direction of the boat! i see the map online..but how do i know which direction the boat is heading?thank u!
It is catchy, isn't it, very late '60s sounding, like a cheery corporate film soundtrack of the age. Geoff explains in another video that he uses a friend to compose custom music for him. He is a talented videograper, isn't he? Good work all around.
The boat services reminded me of Stockholm's. The city routes are operated by the local transport network (SL) and the inter-island ones (even crossing to Åland in Finland) is run by Waxholmsbolaget. Tunnelbana (subway) tickets are valid for the ferries as well, since they are unified tickets, except for some inter-island routes. Also a really beautiful way to see the city, as it stops at Gamla Stan/Djugården, Kungsträdgården, and at Gröna Lund. Berlin's also work the same (crossing through the Spree), except that I haven't tried them so far…
Wow, you are awesome. I love your spirit and you are so cute! Am traveling to London next month. Will definitely ride this ferry from Embankment to Greenwich!!
Shades of the1950's and earlier when companies like the GSN Co. ruled the Thames with Royal Daffodil or the Royal Eagle or when the crack paddler Ex LNER Jeanie Deans was brought down from the Clyde in 1966 to operate as Queen of The South. She was good for 20 knots in her pre war youth and the skipper would race the seagulls and anything with a yellow funnel ( LMS ). These were real ships that would eat firemen but ultimately failed. They were too big and the 50's were a swan song. Now you've only got the Waverley.
Heh. Recommended to me in 2019. Better late than never, eh TH-cam? Anytime you visit a major city that has a waterfront or a river running through it, you should check to see if there's a commuter ferry or water taxi service. It can be a great alternative to other forms of transportation, is usually uncrowded, and always gives you unique views of the city. In Chicago, I like taking the water taxis from the train station to the museum campus.
Damn traffic on the Thames this morning was horrid!
I was only 15 days old when this came out but when I got on the newer version of this!I enjoyed the water splashing into my face
Great excuse to say when you're late for work. 'sorry i'm late, boat was late'
Maybe you should also say "Sorry I'm late, there was an oil spill on the Thames".
I feel terrible coming so late, folks, but the bus i took, had been driven into a river...
How about choppy waters
I'm sorry I'm late, my boat was diverted to Dunkirk and then we had to sink the Bismarck.

Considering the amount Londoners have to pay for travel, the travelcard should include River Bus services.
@YoshiPeach Mario Wouldn't it relieve pressure on the transport network?

On some of the boats there is also a train-buffet-car-type thing! A lot more expensive but a lot more luxurious than other modes of transport.
When I used to live in Woolwich and work in Aldgate, the clipper to work via the Tower was my treat. Transport with onboard bar is very civilised!

The boat in the video is going eastwards.
NYC, set on several islands, has ferries across the Hudson, across the East River, the famous Staten Island ferry, and more.
I have been on the river boats 🛥 many times. A wonderful transport system, well recommended. 👍 🙂
Oh the nostalgia, it’s to much 😂
This will have a Thames Clippers extension to Barking Riverside by Winter 2021 hopefully
Tokyo has similar Bateaux mouches. Great way to see parts of the city you won't see on a train.
I've been on the boat from Hama-Rikyu Gardens near Tsukiji to Asakusa along the Sumida River. It's a very nice trip...
The clipper is a great way to travel across London
Great to see 'The Shard' being built at 02:06 😁👍

Which route would you recommend for first time visitors to London?
It looks like a lot of fun and nice sight seeing there.
Don't know if it was available then but you can use contactless or Oyster to pay as you go on all MBNA Thames Clippers services.

I love the music at 1:08. Can you please tell me what it is?

I was on that once and I loved cause the tour guide was telling us (me and my mum) about it
Hey is this a transportation way like the normal tube or like normal bus .or is this for a tour? ?

9 years later and barely no one uses it and some still don't know it even exists
They carry over 4 million a year?
Do you have any videos about the Canal bus?
I love their accents. I wish I lived there.
Is the London Underground the only place to get the tickets.
Can you swipe your credit or debit card via the Oyster App or your Bank's App for use on the Thames Clippers, like you can on the Underground???
yes, you can now! (you couldn't a few years ago when this video was made...)
Well scripted and presented, keep up the good work
Please guys do a River boat series . plenty of rivers .
How much does it cost? Does it run 24/7? And what’s with the 1970’s Charlie’s Angels Music lol. It’s not The Love Boat lol
I think I've seen those sites when I was in London.
How much is it?
On the one I was on a cruise aka city cruises from Westminster to greenwich

The only way to travel in London, staggeringly quick
its not a loo its the heads!
"River Bus" = what happens when the guy in marketing forgets that the word "ferry" exists.
Nelson Ricardo They sell the same thing but have to somehow differentiate itself from the competing companies for market share
Ferries go across, river buses go along.
The views are great but the tube is oh so much quicker and cheaper.
Cute...very Cute!
Out and about btw.
As soon as she said river buses a bus passed over the bridge lol
