to be honest i really like the charismatic look of this captain, she's absolutely amazing, the look, the speech , and the sunglasses, i've never had the chance to be on that kind of boat maybe one day :)
I took this to and from Greenwich (toured the maritime museum there), boarding right across from the Londoneye and just down from the Houses of Parliament. It’s a nice long boat ride from there and was quite pleasant. Made a few stop including Tower Bridge.
It's good to see a female skipper. She would have studied hard to get all her qualifications and licenses. I've travelled with the Thames Clipper many times. It's a great service, with much further potential. The thing I really hate, is the deckhands' uniform. They do manual work, such as assisting with passenger boarding / disembarking and keeping the interior of the vessel tidy. They wear officer type uniform and rank epaulettes. A corporate, logo'd polo shirt, or similar, would be far more appropriate. Nobody wants to see a 'naval commander or lieutenant' picking up discarded cups and newspapers!
why did the captain wear shoulder bits with stripes on here mend for the chief engineer (4 straight lines) and not the captain stripes (3 straight and 1 with a little curl)?

I use this to get to work and back from Chelsea Harbour to Blackfriars. Its so much better than the tube and worth the price for the peace and quiet.
Much changed days on Old Father Thames from the Marchioness Disaster. Not to be forgotten. Or Zeebrugge ferry disaster. May the lessons be learned.
Reminds me of the SeaBus in Vancouver

If 30 got off and 12 got on, another 18 need to get on to make it empty! ;-)
Aye, Aye Captain. :D
4:10 Him??
What happens if passenger presses the call button?
