Alice, try spraying your glass and tiles in your shower with the rain windshield protector that is used on car wind screens. It beads off the water and helps prevent water spots and mess on the tiles. That way you won't have to clean it. Not sure how often you will need to do a recoat spray, but it really helps.
It’s good stuff - it’s called Rain-X and they do a version for glass and one for Perspex. Are you managing to get some work do or are you too distracted?
I feel you on the flatpack, I built one desk and that felt like it was a good amount of time and effort for my excitement, by the end it was starting to get a bit repetitive but the fact I was almost done carried me through. I wouldn't enjoy building flatpacks in bulk!
