I love vintage and buy a lot of it. Those were lower grade vintage cards and there are a ton of them out there (hundreds and hundreds).

Plus still in his prime and getting better, who knows what his future holds especially with warriors future drafts picks; I think warriors have more draft capital than 75 % of the league . That card especially being low serial numbered can someday fetch over $600k. Great trade especially because their are a ton of those vintage cards especially in low grade; high grades are scarce. Great steal Geoff ✊🏼.

@@nydibs New cards are usually over valued Vintage cards are generally Under valued go Back to 2016 if you picked up a 51 Bowmen Mantle in that shape then you could of gotten it for under $2000 now the Same card is about $12,000 if you bought a PSA 1 52 topps mantle it would of only cost you $10,000 now a
PSA 1 is at least $30,000+ if you looking to resell it this year then your better of getting modern but if your putting it in a safety deposit box & selling it in 20 years like I plan on doing then Vintage is King!
The problem with getting them SUPER SUPER DUPER expensive cards is finding a person who will want to buy it/afford it. I mean with how volatile the card market has been, people dont want to spend that much because they dont want to lose most there investment. Not to mention a very small sample size of collectors could ever afford that. That is a dream card of mine but I wouldnt have traded all them cards for that. Fact is, the vintage cards are a good one to hang onto. SPECIALLY Mantles and Babe cards!

It’s actually quite the opposite with Curry. There weren’t many basketball cards produced in 2009. There are far, far more low grade Mantles and Ruths than high-end Curry cards.

I have around 20,000 cards.. i kept collecting them as a teenager.. they wasnt worth much.. but now.. im 44 yrs old.. and these cards are a life changer.. micheal jordan, barry bonds, dennis eckersley, nolan ryan, randy johnson, shaq oneil and many many more top names.. now.. just because you have a jordan card or some big name, doesnt make it worth a lot.. some of my good name cards are only worth a few bucks.. but, if you have the right card, right player.. its worth a fortune and change your life 😂😂.. one of my jordans is going for thousands.. my barry bonds is going for multiple thousands 😂😂.. and i still havent tried to sale it yet.. does anyone here have the 1987 topps barry bonds error card.. with the card number 320, and the 3 is messed up on the numbers.. its only a half of the number 3.. omg that card is worth more than a new fully loaded truck at the dealership.. 😂😂..

I also have 1 of the Star Jordan rookies that is a 10. I used to save everything. I even have boxes of wheaties unopened from the 90's when lemieux and Jagr were on the front. He's on Topps pay roll. Topps used their advertisement money to set up fake accounts/buyers to overinflate card values by buying/posting/selling cards on line. Maybe 🤔

Look how beautiful those Baseball Cards are ---works of art! I've been a MASSIVE Cubs / Baseball fan since 1976. My 3 ALL TIME FANTASIES was to own a Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb and Cy Young Baseball Card. I'm on Disability cuz I have Hemophilia and I'll never be able to afford any of those cards now. In fact, I can no longer collect ANY cards. My favorite player is Ryne Sandberg and since 1990 I've tried to collect all of his cards, but I just cannot afford it any longer. I take care of my 92 year old Mom and I wanna start collecting again to help me thru the day as it's something that I really and fully enjoy and it would be such a blessing to have that back in my life again, but I just can't.

Last year, a bgs 9.5/10 went for almost 170k in June, but the same card resolde for almoat 110k in December. I would say, if this was bought about seven months ago, it's not a good deal.
