For anyone asking, Jose Novelo is the real deal. We got our family of 5 temp residency last year. In addition, he also helped us open our Mexican real estate company so we could purchase a home or 3 and be within 50 km of the coast. Highly recommend.
That is awesome! That’s really good to know! You make a great point In my travels that has happened to me before, in fact the agent even asked me once if I wanted my passport stamped or not. Thanks for letting everyone know to make sure to let the agent know to stamp your passport in case they do not! Thanks again for sharing!
Awesome! I would think yes it will be extended and also expect higher fees. Seems like the Mexican Gov is not getting rid of this cash cow anytime soon.
Hey guys, quick question. I am a Mexican citizen through my father. I was born in the US but am working on getting my Mexican passport. My husband is also American. If I am a Mexican citizen and we got married here in the US what steps do we need to take to get his permanent residency? Also thanks so much for all the videos! My husband and I have gotten such a good picture of life in Merida thanks to you.
It is very easy. He Qualifies for residency through Marriage aka Through Family Structure. I do not know the exact requirements because it differs from state to state here in Mexico. My advice is to simply ask the immigration office you plan on using what their requirements are and that's it. The basic requirements are Marriage Certificate, and his Passport and your INE but... they might ask for a few other things such as his birth certificate apostiled... or the marriage certificate apositiled and perhaps even translated. Anyways it's easy sorry I don't have the exact requirements. Good luck with everything!
We do not know your name so we can not help you with this. Best way to find out is to search online for the correct format or perhaps contact someone who can help you with this.
The only way to pay Mexican Government Fees is in Mexican Pesos and the Payment is made at the Bank. Not sure if they accept other payment types besides cash. If you are looking to hire Jose Novelo you can pay however you want. He offers ways to pay in another currency so that it converts the payment into Mexican pesos.
Have a paper FMM stamped 12 MAY 22 in Tijuana , Now in Rosarito whats my next step? Go top a immigration lawyer in TJ. Have any contact lawyers in Tijuana information names or numbers.
Great Question! I Would say Yes... but You need to contact Jose Novelo to confirm if it is still valid or not, and if you need to obtain a letter to prove your entry into Mexico or not. But long story short I think you might be ok, but I'm not the expert Jose Novelo is. So please contact him for more information on how to proceed.
My temporary residency expired in 2023 , do i still qualify for the RNE? I am back in Mexico now and my current 180 expired in December 2024… i know big mess, but do i still qualify? 😮
@ no i am on a 180 now that has expired in December 2023, my temporal that i did not renew expired in 2023. Im looking to do the RNE on this expired FNM because i no longer financially qualify…
@@ScottSmith-se5fv since you have the expired tourist visa from 2023, you should be good for applying (again) for temp residency this year. I would definitely contact jose novelo and pick his brain about it. His advice, services, and team are worth their weight in gold.
What about a residential address that you stayed at with your telemex records for WiFi package because I just checked my passport and they stapled in that stupid rectangular card into my passport at CDMX then removed it when I left. I really want to only be a snow bird for 6 months out of the year with a guaranteed 180 day stay. I don't cause trouble like that Jose guy 😆😆😆
You need to get yourself a Valid US Passport and then you can contact a facilitator to see what the next steps are for you to take. You might be able to get residency by proving your previous entries or you might have to wait 2 more years to qualify for the RNE program
Wow, I’m glad I don’t have to get married to get a residency. Thank goodness for the RNE wouldn’t wanna have to do a arranged marriage lol just kidding.
I heard if you go to Baja there is no tip permit on the vehicles. If I take the ferry across to Puerto Vallarta from Baja, will they stop me with my vehicle? If anybody knows the answer to this, let me know Thank you. I have a stamp on my passport on march of 2023. I’m so glad.
There are certain zones close to the border where you do not need a TIP such as Baja but once you go beyond those areas you will be required to have a TIP
@@JoseArteagaTravels ima subscriber, so i'll check to see what else you got on this exciting news! i need a new res, and i thought MX prices had left me behind..this is my window!👏👏👏
Been living in Cabo for 5 months in the winter since 2009. We started the paperwork in Dangerest then Mx. Portland, OR. It cost 53 bucks each for us and this did about 70% of it. The rest was easy here in Cabo. We had to prove we could support ourselves in MX. They are smart and the U.S. is extremely dumb. At 83 we are sold on living here and also voted for TRUMP 3 times as the States are in deep do do,BROKE.

The easiest way for me to get Mexican residency, which I did, was to marry a Mexican citizen.
Thanks for sharing
That’s what my son did. Although they live in the states.
hoping they continue next year so me and my family can apply as our first visit was 2024
Awesome! I would think yes it will be extended and also expect higher fees. Seems like the Mexican Gov is not getting rid of this cash cow anytime soon.
@ that’s ok we plan on starting to save this year for it thanks for the great video as always

Hello Sir it's my 3rd time to apply working Visa here in Mexican embassy in the Philippines.

Are fees paid in cash/pesos only or can you use a credit card?

Correct your next step is to locate a facilitator to help you with the RNE process. Good Luck!
QUESTION: I was in Mexico in 2013 but the stamp is on an expired passport. Would that qualify? Appreciate all your information!

@ sounds good. Thanks 😊
What are the odds of being able to get a residence on a property with it's own well? :) I like to stay hydrated.
Very likely here in the Yucatan. There is tons of fresh water underground
Can RNE be used for those who entered Mexico for the first time in 2024? What's the requirement here?
Nope. You must have your entry into Mexico be from 2013-2023. If you entered in 2024 you are not eligible until 2026
My temporary residency expired in 2023 , do i still qualify for the RNE? I am back in Mexico now and my current 180 expired in December 2024… i know big mess, but do i still qualify? 😮
Yes you qualify. You just have to start the whole process from scratch, but you are good dont worry.

I LIVE IN MEXICALI AND THEY ASK ME FOR MY LICENSE ONLY
Awesome! thanks for sharing!
If they only ask for the drivers license, I would offer both the license and passport and request the stamp. just my 5 pesos
I don't even have a valid passport and I live here in mexicali so what do I do
Quit being a bum would be a good start.
