Tbh I've been subbed to Jaclyn since the beginning and she really hasn't changed that much. She's grown as a woman and experienced new opportunities, but at her core she's still the same person who made videos in her kitchen with the fridge in the back. If anything she's just more comfortable in front of the camera. Don't mistake growth for change.

I think her fans were hurt that the success came and they were left behind. You can see that she was starting to move on. But the fact that her fans were upset and instead of giving up and washing her hands of TH-cam she stepped in and gave us this video shows that who she is is deeply engrained in her. This video made me so proud of her. I've been praying for here I'm glad she did this!
I'm glad that she actually read the comments/tweets about her last video: the face filters, the fact she doesn't upload much anymore, that we wanted to see more creative looks than the one she did, etc etc... I can tell she listened to us and I really appreciate that.💖

Hana she used face filters?! I seriously didn't know that. I was wondering why her foundation looked a lot different then it normally did. It did not look bad I just noticed there was something different.
gi co notice how in this video her real face texture comes out so clearly? If you look back at her older videos, you can see how her face looks perfectly flawless, the highlight looks unbelievably smooth, and it seemed like her cheeks were blurred.. I might be wrong, but I know that a lot of people called her out on this. Therefore, I think that it makes total sense that she used face filters, because I really don't remember seeing so much of her real skin texture in her videos.
Hana she admitted to using facial fillers in the video she did with KKW. When Kim asked her how her under eye area was so smooth she responded with "I have facial fillers" and everyone attacked her but no one even knew she had them before she admitted it
She's mentioned before that she got her under eye done one of the times that she got her lip fillers. It may have been on Snapchat and not TH-cam though, so that could be why some people don't know/haven't seen it.
I’ve always loved makeup but when I started gaining weight I turned obsessed. I was obsessed with trying to make my face beautiful because I was so unhappy with my body. Then I became so unhappy with myself that makeup didn’t even make me happy anymore. In the last few months, I’ve regained my love for makeup not for my original reasons, but because it just all around makes me feel good. It makes me feel even happier seeing you back and better than ever! I look forward to seeing more looks and tutorials from you ♥️

I don’t get people complaining about her using her palette in this. She didn’t say drugstore or dirt cheap. She just said affordable. And $38 for a palette with 35 shades IS affordable. People keep comparing just the price to high end palettes without acknowledging how many more shades you get in her’s than in the high end palettes they are comparing it to. I just wish people could stop focusing so much on trying to bring people down because no one wins in that scenario....

I have been a subscriber for a long time....from Mac to the makeup geek days. If Jaclyn raved about it, I bought it. Recently I had stopped watching and didn't take her recommendations seriously anymore because she was all about Morphe and it just seemed way too gimmicky to me....this video is a huge YES! It's reminiscent of the old Jaclyn that I so deeply admire....even now I'll get ready to her old videos because girl could do no wrong in my eyes! I hope we get more videos like this again from her....I am not a drugstore junkie but enjoy the fact that she used all affordable products nonetheless....I also don't own the morphe palette and have no desire to do so. That being said, I am so glad she is listening to the requests and comments from viewers. For the people complaining the palette isn't affordable, she is clearly trying to appease the endless amount of viewers who went out and bought the palette and that's why she used it 🤷🏻♀️

Vicha Z I commented almost the same thing the other day. I still get ready and watch her old videos almost daily. When starting out with makeup I bought just about every MAC eyeshadow etc that she would use in her tutorials. She was my queen and I have really missed this kind of side of her.
Vicha Z that is sooo true. Her old makeup tutorials can still be used in these days. I was obsessed with makeup geek. But now she made a dupe of alll these shadows in one palette. I hate Morphe with all the marketing but yo, its cheaper than buy all the shadows (MUG) seperately.
I know it's easier said then done but please don't let idiots get you down. We always have your back and we are supportive of you taking time away or any other thing you need to do. We all know your heart and that's all that matters. Thanks J!

Tbh I had no idea how much use I was going to get out of the Jaclyn H Palette. I was debating back and fourth if I should or should not buy it. I realized I had nothing in my humble collection like it and now it’s all I use. Everything is in there! Even the second shade in the Palette (top row) is a superb highlight! I did that on a whim and now that is all I wanna use! Thank you Jaclyn and yes I agree people do misunderstand you. You meant no harm with what you did and I believe you girl.

Please make more looks using your palette. We all bought it because we love you and love the product. Teach us how to use it. Make an easy everyday glam look only using 2-3 colors. Make a night time look that's all about the shock effect. Make a video about any darn look you want using that palette, just make it.

I also have to add that I am really happy that we can see your skins texture and everything. It gives a more realistic expectation of what makeup can and cannot do. I remember feeling discouraged for months when I first started caring more about the application of makeup and the entire process. I had no idea that there were all of these big, fancy lights that hid “imperfections”. I just thought I sucked at doing my makeup. So seriously thank you! Can’t wait to recreate this look 🤗

Shelbizleee When you break down the price of *any* palette, it’s usually pretty inexpensive in regards to the per shadow price. The whole point of palettes is you’re getting a savings. It’s what you plunk down all at once that matters. Drugstore palettes generally run between $7-$15 (with some higher, some lower). The price of her palette is on par with Tarte, Stila, & Anastasia ... none of which would ever be considered “drugstore.”
she's never claimed her pallet was drugstore. & how many 35 pan pallets has tarte or stila came out with for $38? Dont worry, i'll wait -_- stop complaining about every damn thing

I bought your palette yesterday as it was released in the U.K yesterday morning. You probably already know, but there were so many people trying to get their hands on your palette that the entire site just crashed and EVERYONE was going crazy because they couldn't get it for the longest time. But yeah, my point is that absolutely EVERYONE wanted your palette so badly... that's an achievement. I'm super excited to receive mine today!

Destini Burkham rose water with glycerin will be your bff ! Use it after moisturizer, before your makeup & to set your face. It makes all the products just melt & look like skin. You can find it at Whole Foods for cheap or make your own. Also, using a damp sponge to set under your eyes & even your whole face really helps

Morphe coconut eyeliner is gorgeous and so very creamy in the waterline!! Its gorgeous and opens up the eye so much.
Jaclyn - I really like Rimmel's nude colored waterproof eyeliner for the waterline. It doesn't irritate my eyes and seems to last quite well. Super inexpensive, obviously. I keep three at a time - one for my purse, one for my car, and one at home. I use it as a little pick-me-up if I'm out and about and am looking a little weary.

I have the L’Oréal infallible matte foundation and the pro glow concealer, the concealer stung for my skin as well. The foundation is amazing though. I have used a maybelline concealer. I don’t believe it’s Fit Me. But I can’t remember since I threw it away. I thought it was just me but, my friend had said hers stung her skin too! So, don’t try that one either. I’ll try to find the exact name of that one.
It was the Fit Me concealer, my bad y’all!

It's an awesome foundation if they have your color, the lightest is way too dark for me. Medium to full coverage and doesn't look cakey. It works really well for combo skin. If you're super dry, use a moisturizing primer. If you're super oily then you will want to bring a powder or blotting paper with you, you'll need it by the end of the day. After a whole day, it tends to fade around the nose and may break up a little around the edges but that is like after nearly 10 hours of wear.

I'm late watching this...but having worked for loreal, I experienced the same issue with the burning with some of the other infallible foundations too. (oddly pro glow was fine) they do have an 800 # for when people do have reactions. You'd be wise to call and at least report because they need enough complaints to update the formula. Beautiful as always!

A week ago you all bitched she only had one tutorial up with her palette, and now she's in trouble for using it in this tutorial. you truly can't please everybody. If you seriously want to recreate this look, go drug store hunting yourself and find the colours you desire! She can use what she wants and create her videos how she likes. And at this point, that's all she can do because half of her viewers are never happy.

I think it’s because many don’t consider it affordable, but she used it in an affordable makeup tutorial. I wasn’t surprised she used it but perhaps it should have been a separate video. Even a video doing 3 different eye looks with it would be cool.
Unfortunately for this statement, at around 1$ per eyeshadow is very affordable. If your location requires a hefty shipping fee, making the palette more costly - maybe it's your responsibility to go out and find resembling eye shadows more accessible to you. You are not required to follow this tutorial step by step, and it is not a woman on your screen, Jaclyn's, responsibility that you don't have her palette or those same colours. The video is made & uploaded, you can't change it & she can't go back. She WANTED to use her own colours and she did, just like you are free to use your own or purchase whatever you please.
People want to say that the price is not affordable because it's up there with anastasia modern renaissance and lorac unzipped etc. Maybe they don't realize that those come with like what, 10 shadows? Not 35.
