You always, always turn the right pack on after #2 is started because it gets instantly hot and stuffy when both packs are off. Do you ever do bleeds off or unpressurized takeoffs?

Yes I do, preform packs off takeoffs not often though, but if it’s required I do it. Thank you so much for your feedback, you’re the coolest person ever. I will definitely change my procedures. 😁😁😁

Can I ask for your airline sop are you told to pause at 7.5-10 degrees on takeoff for a second or rotate through. It appears us pilot rotate slower than eu pilots and I’ve been trying to fly as realistic as possible. In regards to the packs off takeoff I thought it was more so forwnd upon in the 737 since it doesn’t have an ecais for the pilots to check if they forgot, obviously that’s what the checklist was for. But it’s not like the airbuses were it’s standard to do packs off right?

@@737-Sim-Pilot We never pause. On the long DC-8 you always had to pause. I hit the tailskid once when the airplane would not liftoff (DC-8). Here is what the manual says: "At the start of the takeoff roll, maintain slight forward pressure on the control
column. Above 80 knots, relax the forward control column pressure to the
neutral position. Initiate a smooth continuous rotation at VR toward 15° pitch
attitude. Do not use the flight director pitch command bar for rotation or
adjust the stabilizer trim during rotation. Use a rotation rate of 2° to 2.5° per
second to achieve the liftoff attitude in approximately 4 seconds. Stabilized
climb speed of V2+20 should be reached by approximately 400 feet AFE. It is more important to achieve proper rotation rate than a precise speed after liftoff. Trying to aggressively achieve
climbout speed as part of the rotation process may lead to
over-rotation and a subsequent tail strike. If a tail strike
occurs on rotation, do not pressurize the aircraft -structural
damage is possible. Land at the nearest suitable airport."
If you give me an email address, or some place to send it, I'll send you the entire manual. (United) It is from 2014 since I have been retired for a while.

@@737-Sim-Pilot Packs off TO is seldom needed. Checklists are always used - ALWAYS. I once forgot the APU was off and took off unpressurized by mistake on a bleeds off TO.

@@CockpitScenes Thank you so much, I really appreciate you taking your time to teach me. I defiantly love my checklists my instructor has drilled that into me and I believe in checklist my email is brayman333@aol.com. 😁😁
