If you're looking to start a personal training business or website check this new video out: th-cam.com/video/vdEPl0QuSJs/w-d-xo.html Thanks for the love and support guys!
I found I work best with middle aged, seniors and/or elderly (as in really old lol) They are much more likely to be relaxed and easygoing and easy to work with, I've found. I also live in a city with a higher population of retirees which helps. They always say they love the sessions! Maybe I don't push them hard enough... Kidding!
Honestly, middle aged and older are probably the best clients in a lot of ways. They typically have a bit more time and disposable income. Also, often times they take their health and wellness more seriously!
Man ive watched all kinds of videos (the only break i give myself between study sessions) to kind of get an end goal in mind. You and Usawa Fitness have become my favorites. I know you hear it all the time but thank you so much for going far beyond what these certification companies do to guide and inform us!
Thanks! don’t know that I’d change much. My target demographic, which I’m taking about in this video is middle aged folks. Those people are big on word of mouth, but they’re also spending a lot of time on google and Facebook too.
I’ve got a few videos where I talk about that. I cover it a bit in this one: th-cam.com/video/Qu0MInVJehk/w-d-xo.html I’ll probably cover it more in the future though!
I train at an exclusive mixed martial arts gym only filled with pros who are trying to reach the highest level, so I don't really interact with a lot of casuals or hobbyist. As a mixed martial arts trainer, I have a hard time getting new clients since people find it intimidating and training at an exclusive gym definitely doesn't help. What recommendations would you give? would creating a website help?
say if u dont have gym to go to. is it ideal to look for clients on a running park? and how do you approach them esp when they are during their workout session ie running, walking etc
Where are you trying to train clients? Outside, in their homes? That will make a bit of a difference in how you market but personally, I wouldn’t really approach people while they’re outside working out as they may think it’s a little scary. You could hang flyers, offer free or low charge outside workouts, do your own workout, etc.
jeff what you are doing in case when client cancels a session last minute if they do this quiet often. and also in case if they even not informing about that. thank you jeff 🙏🏻♥️
Definitely make sure you have a policy in place for late cancellation-decide what works for you in terms of notice, fee, etc. and stick to it. Mine is 24 hours notice or they get charged a session. They’re told this up front. Of course, things come up but if they’re doing it all the time, remind them of your policy and enforce it.
@@SortaHealthyTrainerEducation You are super progessional and very very Helpful. after getting ISSA certification i wouldn’t be Able to do in practise anything without your videos.
My most recent video answers that question better than any comment could. It definitely comes down to you and your specific situation. Here’s the video covering that: th-cam.com/video/an5iw5BG0tw/w-d-xo.html

The music you use in a business video is there free downloads or do we pay for the music ? Thank you!
When using music in a video, royalty free music is free. You can pay for music but I generally dont.

I don’t think any of them are that easy. ISSA is probably the easiest since it’s open book.

It varies quite a bit! For one on one I charge a little over a dollar a minute. The price varies based on client commitment though
