I made these last night and they were out of this world! Crazy delicious! Your tutorial was terrific. I had 14 drumsticks I needed to make into lollipops. My first attempt took me about 7 minutes. As I got closer to the 14th drumstick, I was able to cut away in less than a minute flat! I’m a pro now😉
Made these last night, didn't spend as much time cleaning up the knuckle. Took maybe 20 seconds per drumstick. Whatever was left on it burned off on the grill. My wife, who doesn't like drumsticks, said these are a lot better. Getting rid of that tough cartilage made them easier to eat.
I always brush my BBQ on and it takes forever. I'm going to have to steal that technique. One thing I would like to suggest for presentation is to wrap the bones with aluminum foil. The bones will stay nice and white like a real lollipop.
You definitely got me hungry right now lucky for you I bought some drumsticks that are fully defrosted. I am going to try this recipe and wish me luck. I have an oven so wish me luck
Listen... I've seen a lot of TH-cam videos on these.. and I'm not expert but I love to bbq and you my friend... did it right!!!! Season them first and cook them a bit theeeeeen base them with sauce.... like I said.. seen many videos on these and his videos made my mouth water! Good job buddy 👍 🤤
I cooked nthis today,, i couldn't get the drumbs to stand up like his,,, i just laid them down on their sides since i also didn't have a rack like his. I smoked them at 250° for 1 hour 1/2 flipped at halfway mark. Put the sauce and temped them after 1/2 hour. They came out wonderful One more thing i did different ,,, i wrapped them in bacon before smikit them
Sure upsets me to see you wasting all that seasoning on the cutting board. Personally I would have rolled the chicken in the seasoning on the board before I shook more out. Always going to waste some but dang there was a LOT of seasoning left on that board. I personally like to season in a cereal bowl so I can use as much as possible.
He spent alot of time making them pretty. I dint trim the knuckle I just pull it off which speeds it up. I also pull the little bone out which I didn't see him do. Don't get wrong they take time to make but the less you care about presentation the faster it is. Once you get used to making them it's actually pretty quick and easy. The taste of them is worth the work trust me. They're juicy like a thigh and you forget you're eating a chicken leg and fir the price of legs it's completely worth it. Plus it's something diff and people will think you're a grill wizard since most have never heard of them.
The majority of your likes and comments come from people that think adding a second pack of powered cheese to their Kraft mac and cheese is "revolutionary".
Setup:
- Indirect Heat
- Temp: 350-360 degrees
- Sauce at 150-155 internal
- Finish at 165 +

This isn’t ray Romano but I see why you thought so.

🎉❤I'm making them for dinner tonight 😋 but a different sauce yummy 😋 😋 😋
Made my mouth water!!
Thank you ❤
Whole Foods sells chicken lollipop meat with the ends already trimmed so you don't have to do all that in the beginning.
FINALLY CARTOONS ARE BECOMING A REALITY
Have you tried these out on a pellet smoker? I have a trager ironwood 650 that I absolutely love and want to try these out this weekend!!
Yes, I sure have. And I would cook them the same way. Temp around 350 or so and just let them roll.
Looks spot on mate, you’ve got my attention 👍🏻
Looks awesome....great recipe...but when u bit the chicken, it didn't look done ..
Looks great. 👍👍👍
Looks really good
Thank you
Great job!
Making these bad boys now 😋😋
"Once I pull this off," starts cutting
I’m making this recipe right now on my Traeger. My only regret is not having a rack like yours. Can you post the link please.

Thank you brother
Dunk them at 150 internal and put them back on for about 10 minutes
Great video!!!
you need an extremely sharp knife to make it easy
Mmm Make me some! 🍗
GOTTTA TRY THESE OUT! They’re like meat “cake pops” lol
Officially subscribed!👏🏻
Lotta work
I hated cleaning these legs. It’s a lot harder than I thought.
Sound like Patrick mahomes
What about the annoying toothe pick bone that's in the leg. I didn't see how to get rid of that.
cut your prep time in half by using you thumb to rip the excess off. not a knife
Super, bro!)

I would need 4 racks lol 😂
Muy buen contenido y te aplaudo pero sería bueno que tengas doblaje al español
thank you
That totally reeks of effort. I guess that's why I don't make them.

Hmmmn so 5 mins prep time per drumstick. We have 12 people at the bbq ...say 60 or 60 drumsticks . Hours of drumstick manicuiring. I cant see it.
❤❤😋😋🙌🙌

Try deleting “nice”. It’s a crutch word…
