I'm fairly new to the game and I noticed I've had more fun dropping into the high risk zones where other players will likely drop. I've had more victory royales from sneaking and playing it safe but sometimes it didn't feel as fun because I was just moving slowly through the map and there wasn't action. I'm all for watching the high risk plays because there seems to be more skill involved if you come out on top consistently. You can make it to the final 10 in a match with poor gear just by hiding the whole time.

Not always firing the moment you see another player. Deployable cover is a MUST. A lot of people understand this concept, but don’t truly think about it until they’re spectating the guy that was just shooting at them a second ago. The moment you leave cover, YOU’RE OPEN. If you’re traversing valleys or plains and you start getting lit up by someone who’s been tailing you (tailing is super important), you’re just waiting to get eliminated. You have to remember that once you leave cover, you’re a moving target. 3. Land at POI’s that have plenty of concealment (walls, trees, boulders, etc). Yeah he isn't a camper at all... he just doesn't push a force a fight that he doesn't have an advantage in - which means he is perfectly fine with not fighting someone at that moment, which requires a lot of discipline and many of us lack it (myself included). He wouldn't have a great following / consistent viewership if he camped.
@@TobyWanShinobi I was aware of this rotation from another streamer. More as a easy loot type of path. But I did the passive approach. WOW!!! 4,1,1,8,1,1 and 3rd. In that order. I had to.back off as I usually rotate to fight. The most elims I had was 6. Spent more of my focus on positioning and finding the loot I wanted. Thanks for the refresher.
My first day I hid in bushes. Learned that the pros know you are in there 😅 now I collect and hunt boxes and now I'm not scared to face others. Well not one on one anyways. I'm still scared to battle in a group in the open 😂
Came back to this video because I eliminated this guy to win a Solos game last night. I didn’t realize it was him until I went back and watched the replay. Went and watched the video of his livestream from last night and sure enough it was. Your videos have been a massive help in improving at this game over the past year or so. No shot I could’ve beaten this guy a year or more ago. Keep up the great work, man! (44 minute mark in his stream from last night if you’re interested lol)
Personally I always prefer high action high kill gameplay. Not only is it boring to watch someone hide behind a tree for 10 minutes, every fight is something to learn from and I watch your content half for entertainment, half for education, to learn how to play better. I only started playing April this year and between you and EvolveJake I've improved massively, love your personality and your very detailed break downs of everything you do. Appreciate all the content and keep on doing what you're doing! 🤘
Thank you Chris! Also I want to clarify, RottenTwinkies never hides anywhere for 10 minutes - he has viewers to entertain and he would get bored himself as well. He's just a much more strategic / safer / endgame focused player. I really hope I didn't paint him as someone who spends the whole game hiding.
Snap. I play super aggressive.... I have very few victories but every game is 100% 15+ kills..... I prefer playing for fun rather than getting the win.
I’ve been been a part of his community for the past 4 months and I’ve learned so much about gameplay and rotations. I went from having 0 crowns to finally capping my goal of 20 because I’ve taken in everything he teaches us daily. He’s so smart and definitely plays with strategy. Thank you for posting this video about him! You’re a genuine person for doing it and on his birthday nonetheless. ❤
I remember watching tfue stream one time and someone in his chat asked him if he had any advice for how to get wins. And his response was "I don't really know I don't play to win, I'm just playing for kills if you kill enough people you win." Obviously that's a little sarcastic on his part because he had so many wins but it does show a different mindsets that people can have when they're playing.
im in twinkies streams every single day and i have been subbed for over 2 years and not once have iever seen him pick soaring sprints, he constantly says he hates it
This is my bad, an oversight by me. I could have sworn I've seen him use it with shockwaves for rotations in end games but I'm probably mistaken. I know he doesn't like it normally, and neither do I (it makes you an easy target). But with shockwaves it can be very useful for covering ground.
I’m a big fan of Twinkies and have been watching him since I started playing the game. He’s one of the smartest players I know, and he plays on controller which appeals to me as well. I know you’re a drum hater, but maybe it’s not such a bad option? Lol. Keep up the great work Toby.
This is a great video. I've watched a few of Rotten Twinkies streams since you first mentioned him on stream. Dude is fun to watch for sure and I love that there are several of you high level players that can see the value in the play styles of your "enemies". All in all great break down
I personally prefer to watch someone willing to risk it all for a highlight. It’s way more intense and fun to watch for me. Even tho I’d love to win every game, I wouldn’t drop my mammoth pistol for ports. Great vid brother
I'm with you even though I don't personally play that way. But that's also 1 of the biggest problems IMHO when it comes to streaming/ers 😅 Ya know most people expect you to be this ultra aggressive type of player that never misses shots while dropping 23 kills a game. Which is cool and all + possible for the top of the line streamers. But problems usually arise when the people who watch "those streamers" are in my squad trying to copy their play styles without their raw skills nor High IQ which usually costs us the game 😂. But sadly most people only care about kills instead of winning in BRs which is 😂 to me
I actually watched the video a few minutes ago, checked out RottenTwinkies on Twitch afterwards just to see that he is currently streaming live having his Birthday Subathon and actually watching the very same video while I joined the stream. So funny.
Thanks so much for alerting me to that! I logged in and checked on his twitch earlier in the day but he wasn't on, so I figured he wasn't streaming today. Then I saw your comment and jumped in to catch him live. Thank you!
The top German WW2 ace had a similar approach, only engage the enemy with a good advantage in the dogfight, otherwise disengage, don't take 50/50s. But he didn't have the pressure of high kill games from the Fortnite audience and certain celebrity streamers trying to shame him as a crown grinder for playing conservatively and not being an easy kill. It was a simpler time.
This is very true. Its a weird stigma / unbased pressure as a content creator / streamer where I feel like I NEED to be getting elims every minute or pushing fights, otherwise the viewership is going to die... but I find that maybe its kind of the opposite. Push a stupid fight, die and people are like "yeah, that's not it... I'm out" haha
Here’s some ideas that might be counter intuitive but only you could cover. 1. **"Stealth Masterclass: Navigating the Map Undetected"** Execute a live gameplay session focused on mastering stealth in zero build mode. Explore the best movement techniques, cover utilization, and loadout choices for staying undetected by opponents. Discuss the art of surprise and ambush in this setting. 2. **"Low Kill, High Win Tactics: Strategies for Passive Victory"** Demonstrate live gameplay emphasizing tactics for players who prefer a less aggressive playstyle. Explore effective ways to avoid conflicts, prioritize survival, and secure victory with minimal engagement. Discuss the mindset and decision-making behind low-kill, high-win strategies. 3. **"Psychology of Low Kill, Top Ten Wins: Mastering the Art of Survival"** Explore the psychological aspects of playing for top ten placements and focusing on winning with minimal conflict. Discuss decision-making, risk assessment, and the mental strategies needed to consistently make it to the final circles and secure victories without aggressive play. 4. **"Dynamic Loadout Evolution: Adapting on the Fly"** Showcase live gameplay where the content creator adapts their loadout based on the evolving circumstances of the match. Discuss decision-making processes for swapping weapons, adjusting inventory, and optimizing loadouts for different phases of the game. 5. **"Character Hitboxes Exposed: Target Size and Camouflage Analysis"** Investigate and discuss the impact of character skins, back blings, and accessories on hitbox visibility. Explore which character combinations offer smaller and more camouflaged targets, making it harder for opponents to land shots. Conversely, analyze which skins may have larger hitboxes, potentially making headshots easier for opponents.
I love your play style man, I don't see you changing it that much just to get more Ws. But as you said, probably the mix of both would be ideal :) As always, great video bro!!
It just so happens to be RottenTwinkies Birthday today!! Jump into his bday stream and wish him a great day! He saw the video and really enjoyed it while watching it on stream with his viewers!
Thanks for introducing us to another great FN player. To answer your question, I would like to see both types of vids, but not during the same stream ( unless something is just not vibing). I would love to see one day focused on high kills and crazy clip worthy plays and another day focused on strategic wins. I think this is how most of us play but don’t quite know it. Thanks for all you do for your community!
7:45 I feel like what Toby says here makes so much sense. Lots of people want to be dragons since either its more fun or they see streamers play like that and want to copy, thinking it's the best way to play.
I spent an hour writing this for some kid in reddit the other day. Not as detailed tho, I wish I knew you were going to make this I would have just sent the link 😭 it's crazy that he does almost the same thing I do, except his accuracy is much better. High risk games are just better. Maybe make a day out of being strategic every week and/or see if rotten will run duos with you?
you mention a really good point on rotating on the slower sides of zone but the problem for me is that it's usually hard to tell which side of the circle that will be on!
Wow Rotten Twinkies really is a strat master. Certainly some good lessons to learn and adapt them to peoples own style of play. I think that’s one thing that makes Fortnite very unique, there is literally hundreds/thousands of different strats and play styles that can be implemented and work for different people individually. Thanks for sharing.
As a big fan of RottenTwinkies I loved the video ! His gameplay is very strategic and insightful watching him definitely helped with my own games . He’s such an amazing player and person definitely recommend to anyone who hasn’t watched him !
To answer your question at the end I feel like I have different streamers/TH-camrs I watch depending on what I’m looking for, if I’m looking to learn and improve my game play I love watching you and Evolve Jake, but if I’m in the mood to be entertained maybe I’ll watch some Zemie and Tfue highlights or some challenge games people post (one chest challenge stuff like that) but in my personal opinion Toby you are my go too for when I need to get in the lab and up my game. Don’t know if this input helps at all but thank you for the great video 😊
Since finding your channel I've come to appreciate more strategic playing over high kill aggressive play. Since zero build came out I've become incredibly aggressive with pushing and started making some absolutely 2 IQ plays lately. Lately I've switched to going for the win over pushing and it's a lot more engaging because matches are longer
This is something I've been feeling lately which is why I made this video - a focus on a strategic player who absolutely dominates. Not playing passive, but strategic and not w-keying every fight.
Same bro. I get so mad at myself because I know better, and do it anyway, always ends up costing me. Even though I'm nowhere near your caliber of player I still try to play for the win.
I land that tower, rotate to harbor then to brutal almost every game. You are exactly right. By the time I’m looted up and make it to brutal, I get there at the perfect time to get dumpstered on by the last player in the POI.
That's a good way to do things! I often just feel this weird unbased pressure to play aggressive on stream. I think I've gotta pull it back and just play more strategic haha
I love his style his gameplay. If a player goes into end game healthy, with lots of ammo and full of utility, his chances of winning increases exponentially.
I think ranger was one of the first to use this loadout, I tried it and its objectively the best ZB loadout but drum spamming untill you run out of ammo and then switching to MK hipfire gets boring. This guy is undoubtedly a too tier player though.
The baby thing, I mean c'mon man... Im a dad... thats just mean... he happy, you proud... I clicked the button... I had to... For the Gameplay thing: I like to see the best strategy to win games, because when I play I play to win. That gives me most satisfaction. Even if that means hiding in the Loo until the last two players start hitting each other. I watch zemie for crazy action, I watch you for tactics and info about the game.
This is a fantastic video!! Not only is twinkies one of the best to play fortnite, he is a genuinely great person. I highly encourage everyone to sub to his twitch. He's just the best!!❤
Wow great player! He has strategies but is high skill. I love the fast paced games tho... what would be cool to see you mimic his play style as a challange. Like every 5th game in a stream. I had a good run of wins when I changed a strategies, if I didn't initiate the fight get out and reset. I guess this is part of what he is doing.
I'd prefer high action, because I feel like that shows more situations where combat occurs and how to survive. I don't need help learning how to hide and play safe. I watch to see how high level players handle combat. I honestly wouldn't care if the person I watched lost every game, provided they had a high elimination count.
Great video! Taking a lot from this and gonna implement some of these strats into solos next season. Love this concept of learning from others. Really great video brother!
Great video! i often get "bored" if it has been a while since I've seen an enemy, so I'll engage no matter what. I think you gotta play the way you enjoy playing... basically "you do you". Personally, I do want to try running the 2 gun loadout more often for this last week of season 3.
You said it. You need a mix of both. In the early days to progress, I argue your mechanics and gameplay are much more important. You NEED to get into fights to practice winning fights. Once your are competent at winning fights, then you can choose when and where to engage in fights. I'd argue we all personally want to get the win. High elims is nice but we want the win. There's lots of strategies to get into the top 5 in a round. But if you aren't good at 1v1 and 2v1 scenarios, you'll get close a lot but not win. As for what's fun to watch, again I think it's a mix. Have a mix of videos. Some demonstrating strategy for wins and some for high elims and fight mechanics. I watch all of it. But I'd argue there is LESS content around win strategy.
I agree with all of these statements. I may start moving toward more strategy focused videos for a while, because I need to begin implementing it more into my own gameplay. Winning consecutive games on stream regularly is my goal, and its not happening right now because I go full APE hahaha.
Extremely similar formula to what I created. He is just a far superior gamer and player, probably uses mouse and keyboard. But I did pick up a couple new options for the formula. I like his mentality and discipline.
@@TobyWanShinobi I find it interesting he tends to look two places first. Half the time I do both trailer park and temple. Other times only temple and rotate to vault early. Other options include race track. I have taken to preferring using a tanker early
Also in regards to the type of gameplay. It’s tough being a streamer and wanting to win games, when you feel like people want to be entertained 😅 I’m the same way as you, I know the mistakes I’m making, but it feels boring to just sit around and wait. Even though I KNOW it will cause me to win. I feel like for pubs I still lean towards playing aggressive, but for a lot of these strategies, they are perfect for comp play. I know playing more patient in general would help me not feel as annoyed on stream, but def wouldn’t feel as exciting lol
I think it's a mixture. As a consumer of both yours a Toby streams, I'm not just there to see massive body count games. I'm there for the chat, the reactions, to see how you guys do what you do what you do. There is a lot more to being entertaining than the kills
100%. Its like... if I would just be patient or more strategic for a total of 2-5 minutes throughout a solos game, it would probably result in 20% more wins and a much happier attitude for the stream . Its the worst when you struggle to win a game and then feel like you need to double down with great skill plays AND win the game to make up for it haha.
Definitely prefer the high risk, high action gameplay, especially when the streamer acknowledges that it's sub-optimal but more fun. That's why I prefer ZB over builds in the first place.
Well done video Sinsei! You are correct on everything you said and you have just made the "unpopular kid" (style) very acceptable. I do find it fun when you play mach 10 with your hair on fire but I also appreciate and respect your strategic skills and the mechanics you have behind it all!
I love this video I mostly make it to end game but my issue was I never rotate early and don’t go for loot island theirs nothing wrong in playing stealth and smart theirs a saying in karate You should only take parts in fights you know you can win I like both playstyle
3:00 he sounds like me. I have 52% in top 10, 45 VR. I'm trying to get more kills between getting ready to fight and the end game action. Very stealthy the whole time. If I get into a fight where I lose the upper hand, I'll run away quickly to reset or move on.
Big like to support Shinobi baby, Shinobi daddy and Shinobi mom (who also occasionally plays... I envy you. I recently found out that my wife doesn't even know what is gaming controller and a thumb stick LOL, so I'm not holding my breath...). Can't wait to see baby Shinobi join you guys in the Fortnite scene. Probably another 8 years or so ;)
Thank you! I look forward to some fun family games :) It's never too late to learn! Start with a 2d platformer :) or a game like Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time
@@TobyWanShinobi good idea. BTW, I played with my daughter who had never played before 'It Takes Two' on a split screen and it was a good time. I think it is one of those games that I'd encourage to play for bonding etc... it is very beginner friendly and overall just a good game.
Man, my issue with this play style, is that I spend 10 minutes looking up, only to die in the first fight I get in. It happened so much, that I started landing at hot drops every single game. That way I either eliminate them right away or die, no wasting time I'm not saying this is the right thing to do, but for some reason I've been playing for 7 months and just cannot progress at all. It's driving me nuts
Start by trying to figure out your main problem. Are you losing 1v1's? Are you getting killed by 3rd parties? Are you rotating too late and always pressed by storm? Are you just missing shots? Are you not carrying equipment?
i think both ways are possible, some games if one strat isn't working after a few games switch it. either way we are here because we like you as a person. nothing wrong with adapting and playing to a style you feel comfortable with.
Btw, the drum shotgun have made me rage quit more than once. I really hope they vault that atrocity. They should at least forbid it from being ground loot.
I would not be upset if we never saw it again. It feels like 60% of my deaths right now are to that weapon, usually from someone hiding and taking me off guard.
I think we can all use a little more strategy and focus on wins, but more action and fights are what I tune in for when watching content creators, as well as educational tips like this video.
Im somewhat like both of you. My combat is ok but my strategy is excellent. But I do like fighting a lot wen I could have passed on the fight and ended up winning. Like u said I do this knowing I'm messing up lol
I just used this load out and my first game today I got a solo win. I was lucky enough that 2 of the 3 people left were really bad at camping and I beamed them with the mythic dot sight gun. The last guy was a little bit tougher but that was because of how bad the terrain was.
I'd prefer watching a game with high risk/action rather than just watching people win all the time, as that would be monotonous. There are probably 100 ways to die but only one way to win- by playing safe, which might make some viewers bored in the long run. Anyways, it's totallyy upto you, we'd watch you play regardless cheers!
Nah, I would never label him anything like a rat, nor should anyone else... he isn't a "camper" - he stays mobile and looks for fights - but just doesn't always take them unless he has an advantage.
My fighting skills are only ok. My aim is generally decent. My situational awareness is what I think is my strongest attribute. I have a little over 1200 solo wins only because of this. Everything you mentioned in this video about RottenTwinkies rotational thought process is how my mind works. Lol, this is good because if I had to use brute force I don’t think I would win very often.
You can mix it up IMO, play a few games strategically and explain your thought process live on stream (you actually kind of did that last time), and then play a few games like "Ape Toby" W-keying with the drum shotgun 😀
i play high action bt i play on xbox one x overall is good but my aim is really bad also sometimes i dont know i think the game just does too high graphics then it lags a bit for a sec and sometimes it also freezes for like 2 sec
I love your videos mate, really great insights! How about a challenge? Why don't you do a few games playing exactly like RT? Would be great to see! A terrifying collab duo with him? Hahaha!
I think that's a legit question about wins vs entertaining. You have the following so my suggestion would be to play aggressive in the start but then rotate to dead zones or hide and use that time to interact with your chat
Twinkies is an absolute goat! He's not afraid to fight/play aggresively, he just chooses to play smart. Those of us who regularly join his stream have seen him play aggresive and he's still just as good. Come hang out in stream sometime, I promise, its never boring. Twinkies has built an awesome community and is always engaging with and walking chat through his game play so we can learn better strategies, while absolutely crushing the lobby! 10/10 video TobyWanShinobi, thanks for giving Twinkies some recognition he deserves- on his birthday nonetheless!
100% - I am looking back on this video and feel like I should have stressed the fact that he CAN play very aggressive and win games - but he usually chooses not to do so because he enjoys winning more by playing strategically. People in the comments are acting like he hides the whole game . The guy is a beast not to be messed with haha - I've felt it before in game and literally thought he was using aimbot when he shot me out of the sky while using a katana once. We are tied 1-1 in our fights so far and I know that if I'm not well prepared for the next fight - like he normally is - he's winning it haha.
Well bro when i watch i love action but i love your strategy ! becouze action can make every player but strategy is the key to win in the end :) So keep up your good work bro ! :)
Note: don't play like him if you're not that great and trying to get better. You get better by taking fights. Once you DO get good enough to win fights pretty consistently, then you can play like him. But taking fights is still more fun in my opinion And I don't mean take every single fight you see, of course. You still always have to play smart. But that doesn't mean run away either. Running and hiding is only something to do in a desperate situation (low health, outnumbered, etc)
"I often know the mistake I'm making but do it anyway for the rush." Yep, I know that feeling. lol
Haha - we need to listen to our gut more often
@@TobyWanShinobi Only if winning is the most important thing. For some, I'm sure the rush of the hunt is all they need.

Without question, the higher action gameplay is more fun to watch. We don't want to see you hide in a bush for 10 minutes.
I don’t think this guy camps. He just adverts risk by drawing other players to fight against themselves and moves to good zone positions.

Haha truly the best player with the lowest win percentage. I think he had like a 7% win rate or something. Often let opponents win as well.
im in twinkies streams every single day and i have been subbed for over 2 years and not once have iever seen him pick soaring sprints, he constantly says he hates it
This is my bad, an oversight by me.
He is a mastermind! Thanks Airjef ❤️
This is a great video. I've watched a few of Rotten Twinkies streams since you first mentioned him on stream. Dude is fun to watch for sure and I love that there are several of you high level players that can see the value in the play styles of your "enemies". All in all great break down
Glad you found it helpful!
💯
I personally prefer to watch someone willing to risk it all for a highlight. It’s way more intense and fun to watch for me. Even tho I’d love to win every game, I wouldn’t drop my mammoth pistol for ports. Great vid brother
I'm with you even though I don't personally play that way. But that's also 1 of the biggest problems IMHO when it comes to streaming/ers 😅
Ya know most people expect you to be this ultra aggressive type of player that never misses shots while dropping 23 kills a game. Which is cool and all + possible for the top of the line streamers.
But problems usually arise when the people who watch "those streamers" are in my squad trying to copy their play styles without their raw skills nor High IQ which usually costs us the game 😂.
But sadly most people only care about kills instead of winning in BRs which is 😂 to me
High octane gameplay with videos like these now and then it's perfect.
I really dig the community you are building and are part of. Awesome positive energy!! Thanks Toby!!
Thanks Booth!! ❤️
I'm out" haha
personally I prefer watching high action gameplay. I can justify being passive in ranked but I get bored in pubs if I don't push most people I see
Here’s some ideas that might be counter intuitive but only you could cover.
1. **"Stealth Masterclass: Navigating the Map Undetected"**
Execute a live gameplay session focused on mastering stealth in zero build mode. Explore the best movement techniques, cover utilization, and loadout choices for staying undetected by opponents. Discuss the art of surprise and ambush in this setting.
2. **"Low Kill, High Win Tactics: Strategies for Passive Victory"**
Demonstrate live gameplay emphasizing tactics for players who prefer a less aggressive playstyle. Explore effective ways to avoid conflicts, prioritize survival, and secure victory with minimal engagement. Discuss the mindset and decision-making behind low-kill, high-win strategies.
3. **"Psychology of Low Kill, Top Ten Wins: Mastering the Art of Survival"**
Explore the psychological aspects of playing for top ten placements and focusing on winning with minimal conflict. Discuss decision-making, risk assessment, and the mental strategies needed to consistently make it to the final circles and secure victories without aggressive play.
4. **"Dynamic Loadout Evolution: Adapting on the Fly"**
Showcase live gameplay where the content creator adapts their loadout based on the evolving circumstances of the match. Discuss decision-making processes for swapping weapons, adjusting inventory, and optimizing loadouts for different phases of the game.
5. **"Character Hitboxes Exposed: Target Size and Camouflage Analysis"**
Investigate and discuss the impact of character skins, back blings, and accessories on hitbox visibility. Explore which character combinations offer smaller and more camouflaged targets, making it harder for opponents to land shots. Conversely, analyze which skins may have larger hitboxes, potentially making headshots easier for opponents.
I love your play style man, I don't see you changing it that much just to get more Ws. But as you said, probably the mix of both would be ideal :)
As always, great video bro!!
Would love to run duos with Twinkies, it would be like a strategy masterclass haha.
@@TobyWanShinobiI second this!!
I like watching people who's having fun even if they don't win :)
That's a great answer 👍❤️
you mention a really good point on rotating on the slower sides of zone but the problem for me is that it's usually hard to tell which side of the circle that will be on!
The skinny side, the side that has the smallest space between storm and circle.
Yeah he is a Fortnite genius!
Toby, you absolutely crushed this video! Instant sub
The strategy works! I hardly play solos, but I just got a solo win using this strategy! Thank you for sharing!
As a big fan of RottenTwinkies I loved the video ! His gameplay is very strategic and insightful watching him definitely helped with my own games . He’s such an amazing player and person definitely recommend to anyone who hasn’t watched him !
100% . Legendary player, legendary human with a huge heart
That does help :) thanks for letting me know ❤
Since finding your channel I've come to appreciate more strategic playing over high kill aggressive play.
Duos?
Some of these strategies im gonna try. I mix up between going head first into the action and taking my time. It’s just fun for me.
That's a good way to do things! I often just feel this weird unbased pressure to play aggressive on stream. I think I've gotta pull it back and just play more strategic haha
I’d go with “Prospering” for Zero Build. Strategic, high elims, and multiple wins in his daily streams.
I love his style his gameplay. If a player goes into end game healthy, with lots of ammo and full of utility, his chances of winning increases exponentially.
Absolutely
I think ranger was one of the first to use this loadout, I tried it and its objectively the best ZB loadout but drum spamming untill you run out of ammo and then switching to MK hipfire gets boring. This guy is undoubtedly a too tier player though.
The baby thing, I mean c'mon man... Im a dad... thats just mean... he happy, you proud... I clicked the button... I had to...
For the Gameplay thing:
I like to see the best strategy to win games, because when I play I play to win.
100%. Incredible guy with a huge heart, absolutely cracked at the game too.
Yeah, something I should implement when I'm down bad haha
I'd prefer high action, because I feel like that shows more situations where combat occurs and how to survive. I don't need help learning how to hide and play safe. I watch to see how high level players handle combat. I honestly wouldn't care if the person I watched lost every game, provided they had a high elimination count.
Guy who plays combat with brain outplay one who doesnt.
Great video! Taking a lot from this and gonna implement some of these strats into solos next season.
Love this concept of learning from others.
Really great video brother!
Thanks MF!
Great video! i often get "bored" if it has been a while since I've seen an enemy, so I'll engage no matter what. I think you gotta play the way you enjoy playing... basically "you do you". Personally, I do want to try running the 2 gun loadout more often for this last week of season 3.
its nice to see some validation of this loadout. there's just too many utility items to have three guns imo. great vid, man!
Yeah he is a strategy mastermind!
@@TobyWanShinobi I find it interesting he tends to look two places first. Half the time I do both trailer park and temple. Other times only temple and rotate to vault early. Other options include race track. I have taken to preferring using a tanker early
Also in regards to the type of gameplay.
It’s tough being a streamer and wanting to win games, when you feel like people want to be entertained 😅
I’m the same way as you, I know the mistakes I’m making, but it feels boring to just sit around and wait.
Thanks @@CrazyGamerJC-YT ! You are a legend.
Ryus so cute. Thanks for the legendary content master shinobi❤️
I love this video I mostly make it to end game but my issue was I never rotate early and don’t go for loot island theirs nothing wrong in playing stealth and smart theirs a saying in karate
You should only take parts in fights you know you can win
I like both playstyle
Deffinetly watch for both.... and also funny rediculous moments
WWWWW Twinkies is AMAZING!
3:00 he sounds like me. I have 52% in top 10, 45 VR. I'm trying to get more kills between getting ready to fight and the end game action. Very stealthy the whole time. If I get into a fight where I lose the upper hand, I'll run away quickly to reset or move on.
Playing bunkers andshockwaves long ago cus we have drum wich saves you slot cus you dont need smg
Probably another 8 years or so ;)
Thank you! I look forward to some fun family games :)
It's never too late to learn!
Famous last words " I'm going for loot Island " lmao
Man, my issue with this play style, is that I spend 10 minutes looking up, only to die in the first fight I get in. It happened so much, that I started landing at hot drops every single game. That way I either eliminate them right away or die, no wasting time
I'm not saying this is the right thing to do, but for some reason I've been playing for 7 months and just cannot progress at all.
Thank you my friend.
I like strategic game play .. do most my games like that
Btw, the drum shotgun have made me rage quit more than once.
Thanks Abhi! I've just been feeling like I am not winning enough lately haha.... Winning like 1/5 solo games feels bad as a streamer.
Awesome video, but everyone else in the stream chat would have just called this guy a “rat” 😂 They really seem to like using that word
Ryu could beat goku if he tried hard enough
Twinkies is so good. I’ve learned so much from watching him play.
An absolute beast and a great person.
I enjoy the action in squads, but so much more difficult, especially with random players.. Almost impossible to get crowns..
Offense wins games, defense wins championships.
Well said.
You can mix it up IMO, play a few games strategically and explain your thought process live on stream (you actually kind of did that last time), and then play a few games like "Ape Toby" W-keying with the drum shotgun 😀
This is probably the best way to do it until I can learn to mesh both styles for the appropriate scenarios.
I just found you recently and I have watched about three videos so far but I love that the babys name is Ryu like my in game name 😂😂
Haha that's awesome
i play high action bt i play on xbox one x overall is good but my aim is really bad also sometimes i dont know i think the game just does too high graphics then it lags a bit for a sec and sometimes it also freezes for like 2 sec
Been binging your vids I haven’t watched because I am so sick rn thanks for the content!
I love your videos mate, really great insights! How about a challenge? Why don't you do a few games playing exactly like RT? Would be great to see! A terrifying collab duo with him? Hahaha!
Higher risk to improve in fights
I would rather die with a pump than live by the drum.
I would prefer to watch your style of play. Go hard, get the kills, have fun with it. Winning is secondary
Just implemented everything he did in my game and I won
Bro, the name of the game is to be the last man standing, I don’t care about high kill games, all that matter is the win ! ❤
Thats literally what he explained, thr high kills will just follow after practice
I think that's a legit question about wins vs entertaining. You have the following so my suggestion would be to play aggressive in the start but then rotate to dead zones or hide and use that time to interact with your chat
Not a big fan of his playstyle, rather have less wins but play more aggressive. would be cool if you did a video like this about EvolveJake though
Wow, this how I like to play, patience & timing, no chasing kills chasing the win
Me and my team prioritize eliminations, a win will always be a bonus 😹 we mostly have a high risk with each encounter we have
Well bro when i watch i love action but i love your strategy ! becouze action can make every player but strategy is the key to win in the end :) So keep up your good work bro ! :)
Watched this video twice actually, wrote notes the second time. Thanks 👍 for the video
Sent it to two of my friends too, your code is permanently entered in my game dude.
You rock Jordonn! Taking notes too, you're going to advance quickly!
Most helpful vid. The others just say get good. Thanx for the strats.
Literally won a game after just watching this video. Wow!
Go to his Twitch and give him a thank you :)
Go little Ryu!
I'd love to see you win more.
Me too 😂
What skin is Toby wearing throughout the video it’s black and gold it looks like a knight or something
Thanks bro
What map is this? It looks different to Battle Royale Zero Build.
Note: don't play like him if you're not that great and trying to get better. You get better by taking fights. Once you DO get good enough to win fights pretty consistently, then you can play like him. But taking fights is still more fun in my opinion
And I don't mean take every single fight you see, of course. You still always have to play smart. But that doesn't mean run away either. Running and hiding is only something to do in a desperate situation (low health, outnumbered, etc)
I am a noob but i like to watch winners and higher elo players 😅
So whether thats being strategic or high action 😅
I think on a view by view basis action-oriented gameplay will attract more viewers for sure.
