Dude that’s what every TH-camr does it’s crazy. I’m trying to find the balance between fps and graphic fidelity and can’t find a single video all of them just slam the settings to bare minimum
Dynamic resolution is often overlooked. I have it enabled and set my FPS target to 135 FPS. Most of the time I am locked at 140 fps and never go below unless things get REALLY intense. So handy to have.
It really is, honestly my game looks almost identical with the setting turned on (reasonable fps limit) and the performance boost is incredible, I've been on the fence lately choosing between DLSS Quality and FidelityFX CAS + dynamic resolution and I think I'm gonna stay with the latter. I recommend testing out that setting to everyone except for people who have 1080p displays, in that case I think that its just gonna bring diminishing effects.

hey i have a question, so my pc specs are pretty good overall (3060 rtx), and my internet speed is 500mb download, and 500mb upload, but i still get latency spikes and fps spikes, i tried many soluotions from other videos but none helped me... do you have any idea of what i should do?
i had the same issues! the only way to fix this is by buying a wifi booster and then plugging in an ethernet cable from your laptop into the booster & i haven’t had any lag spikes! i had lag spikes every game, my ping would go from 20 to 200 then back to 20. I then put a wifi booster with ethernet plugged in and now no lag spikes and my internet has gone from 300 to 600 mbps
Can't even get to the fidelity setting because the game wont let me run in full screen exclusive. I had the option just yesterday and now I don't even see it in the drop down menu.
For whatever reason, I can't save FidelityFX CAS. Every time I apply, tab off and back onto this page, it reverts to Nvdia Image Scaling. Anyone else experiencing this?
OK... first time viewer...SUBD!... i looked this up in the search and you came up.... First of all GREAT content and editing. Concise and clear speech, very step by step easy to follow..... But man at 3:00 that shit looked horrid. Little to no detail on the gun. I think if you're trying to game 1440 when you usually game 1080 you might follow a lot of these instructions. A serious gamer might go low settings for more frame and easier target identification which is a legit strategy.
Even on a 3070, at 1080p Med/high settings, i struggled to get above 135fps. Sometimes i have restart shaders bc when i load up the game after booting my pc sometimes i get horrendous fps drops to 24fps. I should try those settings out then

Wait what? CAS is a great sharpening technique are you sure you don't mean fidelity FX FSR? CAS and fsr are different but fsr will make the game look bad if using at resolution of 1080p or 1440p. I'm on ps5 on a 55 inch LGcx so not sure how to help but the 120hz mode runs at 1440p and looks great with CAS sharpening at 80. Are your specs up to par?
Ok what you are describing is frame timing issues which can make 100fps still feel not smooth. Generally happens if fps is going up and down by large amounts and most fix it by capping fps at the lowest point it keeps dropping to. Say it drops to 75fps minimum you'd want to cap the came close to that or maybe max 90fps. Other thing make sure game is in full screen proper
You can lower settings even further in the advanced options config file. Changing worker render count in the file can fix stuttering and give an extra 30 fps.

That's what DLSS is designed to do give a very similar image quality scaled through AI but give extra performance. What fidelity FX? If you mean CAS that is just a sharpening technique while Fidelity FX FSR is the DLSS competitor that's not that great
i have a 3080ti i used these setting an it is crazy grainy, what am I missing?
The sharpening is from Fidelity FX CAS - might be how your monitor renders it. Can turn it lower
Thanks!
