You are making this job looks easier, i’m about to start as a delivery driver on CLS company, this will be my first job with delivery van.. I’m so excited and nervous at the same time because i love a lot to drive cars or vans.. 😂❤
When i load my overflow i have a marker pen, all i write on the side of the box (facing you) is the house number... Then its really easy to find them at your stops 🎉 My full amazon videos drop in a couple weeks 👍
On the Morning routes the Yellow stickers already have them in number order for you, so what I usually do 30/40s boot, 10s/20s back seats and first 10 in the front🙌🏼
By the way, if you have an iPhone you can just screenshot the parcel code in the app and then copy and paste it👌🏻 I do this all the time, I work at the Deeside depot as a DSP driver
Write stop number on the parcel using marker pen, envelopes on one side serial wise on front seat, other on rear seat serial wise from left side. Big boxes in the boot. Turn off the engine for every 5-6 stops, not for each stop.
your flex route (if designed as a flex route) all packages are numbered from 1 moving up every stop so in theory stop one is package 1 on your driver aid yellow sticker, so when packing car/van you can have organise. However if you pick up a flex route from a dsp route which is broken down all packages are random numbers
I read somebody on Reddit advice to parcels 1-10 on your front seat. 11-20 in the back and 21-40 in the boot but i nee bother. I put Book envelops on the front, poly bags in the left of the boot and small/medium parcels to the right and large parcels in the back.
I’ve heard that if you’re doing this job using a manual car, the constant starting and stopping of your vehicle (when making deliveries) will eventually wear out the starter motor.
I've done flex for nearly a year soo much easier, I tried DPS for 2 month before quitting, I load by the driver aid numbers like 1-1 up to 42-42 etc, but when doing midday the stickers are different, so I just try putting them in house number order, envolpoes on the front seat, polly bags left rear seat, parcels right rear and in the boot.
He has an electric car but I guess he has to have business insurance. My boy does a delivery job in his own car and he gets paid 95p for every parcel he delivers.
I'm new to the channel and I was wondering what happens if you don't deliver all the parcels in the time given. Also what happens if your left a bad review do you lose any money.
If you have say 2 parcels for same house do you have to do the scan 2 times and then scan 2 times for delivery or does the system basically predict the 2 parcel's as the 1 delivery
I know im late but with amazon flex, does that mean u gotta do ur own taxes by filling out the form? if so how easy is it to keep track and to fill it out?
My advice is open a new bank account that’s just for receiving each jobs money. If you’re spending for that job then use that account. Then each year you can add up what you made and minus what you’ve spent and you owe tax on that. Doing a tax return is a doddle, and if you can’t manage it you can pay an accountant £100 a year to do it for you. But you can claim back mileage driven or fuel/mot/service.
@@ZacJonesTH-cam I've seen someone open a inpost locker and someone's parcel was in there. I've also read a lot of reviews about amazon lockers opening with peoples parcels in.

Quick tip Zac, I never knock/buzz before 9am. I either leave behind recycling bin or leave in garden. Love the channel!!
Flex are happy with this?

Whenever I forgot to scan a parcel I just take a screenshot and copy and paste the number off the picture
Great Vlog and always good advice 😀 never seen you at Deeside before Zac will have to keep an eye out for you 😊👍 I hope to see you keep flexing
great work mate :)

Hmm I get the point! Depends how old it is - I done Dominos delivery in a manual for years with no complications (14 plate)
Watching adverts for you!
What languages do you speak?
Depends on the car. If it has stop start tech then it's better suited
Wouldn’t matter if manual or auto still the same wear and tear and genuinely shouldn’t really affect it if maintained properly
little trick you can screenshot the QB code and copy of picture and then copy and paste :P (fellow dsp driver)
Bro I been calling support this whole time I didn't know 😂

Hi Zac,
Any good advice for general delivering, eg, going quicker.
By the way, your Vlogs are always great.
👍👍
More Amazon flex video please Zac
Also do the food delivery apps
Never heard of this before are you not like spending lots of money on petrol or do Amazon pay for travel costs ?

If you forget to scan just take a screenshot and then copy the code....then paste it to manually deliver. You dont have to write down the code

How much do you get for 40 deliveries?

yeah you will have to scan both barcodes, which is handy because you won’t miss one
