Beer and the local beer scene has grown exponentially over the last few years leading to over 60+ local breweries in the Charlotte and surrounding areas. With the growth in breweries has also come the growth in business and tourism in those areas.
In this video I interview the Owner and Lead Brewer of Charlottes favorite and one of the Original breweries, NoDa Brewing. They have been awarded numerous accolades both locally, Nationally AND Internationally.

Fun fact, Notre brewery has never actually operated in Noda. The original one on N. Davidson St. is actually in Villa hights, which I guess you could say, is a sub-neighborhood of NoDa but still. The huge flagship one is in Tryon Hills, a neighborhood that takes a lot of flak as one of Charlotte‘s most dangerous neighborhoods. to me, the actual neighborhood of Noda doesn’t start until you pass heist brewing. I guess back when Notre Bruin was founded anything on North Davidson North of E. 10th St. would be considered NoDa. Now those neighborhoods below 30th St./Matheson Avenue have assumed their own identities.

Yea the lines used to be more distinct but the original OG was (and still is) on North Davidson so the namesake is accurate to street location. But you are curvy that the actual neighborhood is Villa heights. So close. The new location while technically across the st from Noda is at least ON the street across from the neighborhood lol. They needed more room than Noda could provide. Personally the most dangerous in my opinion is Lincoln Heights.
