Love you guys! - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
always present!! for some new learnings from you!! keep it up sir!!
So nice of you
I am looling to make a nice 4 way setup, Mid bass, Midrange, Compression Driver and Tweeters.
Great video, very informative, especially for a beginner!
Glad it was helpful!
Love the cat! He's beautiful 😍!
Thank you! 😊
appreciate you for given your knowledge as honesty as u can its appreciated
Anytime I hook up a DSP I get wierd noise from the speakers. Crossovers I don't have an issue. I think it's tied into the car being computerized. Never had issues in any other car. Only difference is this one has a stock infodeck. Your explanation confirms what I was thinking.
speaker pods are nice but nine fir vehicles yes u can make em iam the one with no time or skills . lol but u know itts costly to make a pod and cant use the mold again to sell
Im using a 3-way component set in the front area with the passive crossovers. How would you manage the time alignment measurements?
if each part of the set on a side is the same distance from the drivers ear, then you CAN time the set I would messure from the 3-3.5 which handles most of the information. however running them all active is a better choice.
@CarAudioEnthusiasts I completely agree, but it's a 2023 work truck of mine. I only have 8 outputs from my DSR1. I'm integrating it into the truck by removing the factory amp. I also have the Mosconi Aerospace 8-12, but I'm not putting it in there. I'm mounting the tweet/mid in the dash area and the 6.5 in the doors. I'm also putting an 8" sub up front. Using the passive crossover allows this, and I can use the eq to correct the issues.
@@markbest4230 then measure to the mids in the dash
@@markbest4230 Are you saying that you're only running three channels? Left, right and sub?
I’m desperately trying to understand the entire DSP thing but honestly I have been using three way electronic crossovers since the mid eighties and they have never once let me down and I don’t have to learn how to become a computer programmer to use them. Am I missing something here or am I just old ?!?!
Software user, yes, programmer I dont think so.😂
@@chokechange my point exactly
its like having a volume, eq, crossover points, and slopes for each speaker. plus you can delay the ones closest to you so it sounds like youre centered perfectly. not hard, just learn 1 bit at a time. dont worry, youll pick up 95% of it really quick,
its way easier, and more powerfull than you think
Older dsps usually had a stand-alone controller or you made all the adjustments through the head unit. My old Alpine DSP connected to the head unit and gave you a graphical user interface to control everything. Newer dsps have moved away from that and require a PC to set. If you don't want to use a laptop, look for dsps that can be adjusted on a tablet or cell phone. Those are much simpler and the interface is a lot more basic looking.
