More great pictures of Glasgow & surrounding area's, with some stunning architecture ( and some less so) but people had less, and were far more contented that today's society..who'd have though the future would turn out to be such a poisonous & dangerous world to live in ... but some fantastic memories to look back on.. Thank you once more for sharing these wonderful pictures..👍👍👍👏👏👏
@@colinburrowes8063 you're right, brings back memories of people and places that you'd forgotten about and I think that's what shapes you into the person you become..ended up watching your videos for hours last night 😁 thanks for the memories 💕
I love the old photos amazing 🎉
Glad you like them.
Meant to comment on the photos of Ibrox in the last two videos. Many thanks, it was really nice to see the place as I remembered it as a boy.
Brilliant as usual. The last photo on the King George V bridge, with the wet raincoats at night is very atmospheric.

It would be great to think that some of the Glasgow "weans" pictured here might get to see these old photos and say, "That's me!"
I hope they do, someone has spotted himself, two brothers, mum and dad, in a previous video.
This must have been bill tool stores dad’s shop as it’s now just up the road in the barras
Loved that tool shop started my apprenticeship as a mechanic 1978,still on the tools at 62 in SA.
