That took me right back to my metalwork days at school 😃 although I'm surprised you're not using the Triumph rubber bolt method used on the rear light 😜 That bracket will last forever 😊
Bloody good stuff angleiron, my mate made a shed using the stuff about 20 years ago, and splatted with an electric welder, still solid :-) A dab of black paint and your brackets will look like part of the light :-))
great works as always, i have been watching a lot of these but very rarely am i educated in this line of work, so i very rarely leave comments and just enjoy them always. Get some sleep mate, thanks for sharing and the commitment
At one point you reminded me of one of those grinder girls you sometimes see at shows, metal underpants and a grinder types. I do likes a bit oh grindage me. Anyway, looking forward to seeing it finished and the start of the next project.
Cheers Ben...i dont think id look that good in a titanium bikini.....not a pretty sight..lol Looking forward to riding it for now...not sure where its gonna go next, but up for a challenge..
Hi Simon.... i use a Clarke MIG 135 Turbo... go it from Machine Mart..Here.;- www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/search/filter/diy-mig-welders/type/any/module/shopcategory/page/1?da=1&TC=SRC-AUTO-DIY%20MIG%20Welders, top one on the list, but lots of chpoice if you want to spend less, i picked it because its right in the middle of the range and does everything i ask of it in my small amount of work.. Thanks Simon.. take care buddy.. Del.
Great work del :) can't wait to see the finished product ha. My mate just bought a Honda dominator and is turning it into a street tracker. I have sent him the link to your channel to help him with the welding and cutting. Are u a bus driver del. ? Random question haha ride safe
Hey Jack....Love the old Domminator, what a wonderful fun bike..and a great donor for a street tracker... and Yes, i drive a bus for a living, (and coaches too when needed).
is that one of those gasless mig's you got there del? Noticed them going for cheap at toolstation recently and wondered if they did the job (providing your one is of course)
You should have saved this one until 5th November, I've been to firework nights with less sparks than you have just produced. LOL Looks like I might be able to make Sunday so looking forward to the milky sunshine PP. Missed out on the Garage sticker (got the monkey boy one) with the tee shirt any chance of popping one in you bag for Sunday please.
Hi Jeff... how can i refuse mate, ill pop one in me top box for the weekend... be great to see you again, and glad you're on the mend... Ride safe on the way down fellah.. all the best... D&P..
Ha ha, thanks brother...half the time i have the right tools, i just reach for the easiest thing when im busy...lol . Appreciate your kind support buddy, ride safe.. Del.
Abit sketchy when your holding things and cutting with the grinder but I guess your experienced/confident with it..health and safety nazis would have a fit haha you still plan on selling damage?
Its a risk to hold things while you grind them, but after a while you get used to it.. and always hold it loosely so that if the grinder grabs it, its just flings it under the bench..never grip it too hard, or grind towards yourself ....and yeah, probably going to sell it once its all done if i can get enough money to fun the next project..! if not, then it looks like IT...will be the next project..lol
