to the people who are gonna build it on their sea level village. put the baloons one by one. if you put one on the left side put one on the right side or it will capsize

@@generalronimus nope, carjacks can't be used with dinamic foundations. they crumble when i put the 2nd foundation. i didn't try to build over 1 foundation tho

This is very original and well done. I like how it resembles something feasibly real. Most of the vehicles ive seen people make on youtube are so missing the vibe i like. i'd like to add wheels to it so it can not only it moves in the ocean and air it would also start using wheels to move at places the thrusters cannot lift it at
The very first version I ever made actually did have wheels, it can certainly be done! I took them off because wheels were really glitchy at the time but Epic has made a lot of fixes since then, so I say go for it!
Looked a bit bulky. Was obstructing the view when you were flying too. I prefer mine more humanoid. But still a great concept and definitely worth a try. Good work man!

How do you unlock the "Engine Bay" recipe? I've been at a loss for that part since even Google has no answers
The only prefab that uses the engine bay is the hauler, I would try putting frostpine in your inventory to unlock the hauler recipe and then start the hauler recipe at least up until it has you place an engine bay. I hope that does it for you!
I'm reading through the comments saying that their vehicle glitched and disappeared... Is it safe to build this yet?
I wish I could guarantee your safety but I cannot haha. I haven’t been experiencing issues as of late when I play solo, but I’ve seen other people still complain about it on discord… proceed at your own risk ⚠️
Where did you put the engine btw? And what size of engine
If you mean the engine pieces that hold power cells, this build uses thrusters only, no power cells needed
Hi, insane vehicle, I did have several issues. It didn't want to fly ! but that was because I nailed it to the floor with the main doors, lol.. You wereb't clear about, wich channel retro thrusters are using, but I assumed it was 3, and it works fine. My main issue was large vertical thrusters ? it just didn't want to stick, as you did, at all. I had to use extra wood piece just to show the game where was the celing height to stick... with those extra wood guides, it worked, at the same place you put them, finally. I will upload a showcase/test fly in french on my channel.
Hey! I actually experienced a similar issue the first time I built one of these.. for me, it was because I used a vehicle base instead of a dynamic foundation so the ship was glued to the ground. I had like 20 large balloons on it trying to understand why it wouldn't lift off 🤣. Anyways, really glad you were able to build it despite those issues you mentioned.. I know at least one other person has commented about having similar trouble getting the large lift thrusters to place properly. I am 100% checking out your channel to see this vehicle in your world!
I want to add a 3rd floor but i dont know if the current wings can support it im not forcing you to do it but can you try and make a tutorial and try and do this
Check out Jinds on TH-cam, he actually did a triple decker version of this and it was crazy! Maybe it can give you some ideas for how to add more layers

Glad to hear you’re going to give it a try! Personally yeah I think turning is easy. Channel 1 turns you right, channel 2 turns you left, channel 1 & 2 pushes you forward

Would the decoration make the airship a bit heavier?
Decor such as lights don’t really affect it. Chests and workbenches do weigh it down a bit but it still performed well in my experience. The test flight in the video was with a workbench and 3 storage chests to give you an idea. Great question!

How do you turn in the air?
Channel 1 and 2 would be left and right respectively, or both to go forward!
For the best way to explain each step you have to turn the speed down. Had to change the video speed in order to do this properly. It works though.

Thanks I appreciate it! Tips for resources hmm.. one of the more annoying ones to get was blast powder, however if you setup at the beach temporarily or better yet with a permanent beach village, you’ll get blast powder galore from the pirate skeletons haha let your villagers do the heavy lifting

Oh no! Pause the vid as much as needed to look at the exact resource names on the right side of the screen, some of the vehicle base bricks look really similar. I also find I sometimes have to use the snap button to get thruster placement to register properly. I hope you’re able to get it working 🤞🏾
@@generalronimus yea I’ve tried to place the thruster because it’s green and green means u can place but then it uses my resources but it doesn’t spawn but my items disappear like it’s invisible but I can’t break it
@@MrSleepyVRthat exact glitch has happened to me as well actually, only way I seemed to be able to resolve it was by logging out and back into the world… apparently they still haven’t fixed it 🤦🏾♂️
How do you get engine bays
I don’t recall doing anything specific to unlock it. I believe to unlock the first vehicle build you have to place a power cell in your inventory, you might try that if you haven’t already and see if the engine bay appears then.

Good question! The reverse thruster shares channel 3 with the lift thrusters. So when you go up, you also go backwards a little unless you have the forward thrusters going at the same time.

Aye, it is. The idea was.. if you’re lifting only, you also go backwards a little. But if you’re lifting and using forward thrusters, they’ll overpower the reverse one and the ship will still move forward and ascend simultaneously. I wish we had more than 3 channels! I would have dedicated one channel to reverse only if that were the case

I need help i added a work bench four chairs a bed and a chest I upgraded the workbench and now the ship won’t come down from the sky. Please help me
Others have complained about physics issues still in the game, I think it’s balloon related. Really sorry it’s happened to you now!
Best advice I can give is build a dynamic foundation and add some balloons onto it until you’re higher than the transport, then parachute down onto it and break the balloons one by one until it floats back on the ground. Grab any supplies you’re worried about from the chests then re-login and add balloons back to it if you’re enjoying using it enough to want to continue doing so. Good luck

Remember all reverse and downward facing thrusters are the default channel 3, you don’t even have to touch those. You just change the two large left side wing thrusters to 1 and the two large right side wing thrusters to 2. Hope this helps, good luck!

bruh I've lost 25 blast powders , this doesn't work in the latest version , the lifting thruster in the back side near the forward thruster just dissappears after I place them, I've wasted 5 hours in this bro pls tryna make a solution for this. please change the title of the video to ' how I built a troop transporter' cuz y is it sped up that much , I can't understand which pixel u place the blocks or which block ur using , just why is it sped up bruh😤
I kept the vid compact for busy viewers who wanted to watch it through but don’t have the time for 15, 20 minute LFN vid. I figured people who decide to step through it had the option to pause if needed.
As for the thruster disappearing, unfortunately LFN is still having bugs and glitches with their mechanical mayhem update in my experience.. if it’s giving you too much trouble and you’re looking for something more practical, I would go with an old school airship… slap a couple thrusters, steering wheel and a balloon on a dynamic foundation and call it good 😂

No.. no you’re not bad 😂 it does take some practice to fly and land it well. If we had more than 3 channels, we could add in some side to side movement that would help a lot.
One tip I could give is, remember to take advantage of those reverse thrusters on channel 3. Since they’re not as powerful, they can help to make smaller movements

Despite Epic’s promise of vehicle stability fixes this previous update, they still disappear or behave in strange ways sometimes.. you may have fallen victim to this 😞 really appreciate you trying it out though! Hopefully next weeks update improves things!

It won’t let me add the balloons
It only attaches to the sides of certain vehicle bricks if you are holding or have the snap button toggled on. I hope this helps!
would be cool to save the build ingame and if wanan do more would just need the mats and you could just pop it out, and have like repair option on stuff would be alao nice, nice build, well done

Why can’t I find a engine bay
That’s happened to others as well, I think having frost pine in your inventory unlocks the hauler recipe.. if you can start the hauler recipe, one of the pieces is the engine bay, that may be a sure way of getting it to appear

Dont build your aircrafts too big, it will be a waste of time and resources when it all breaks
You gotta do it for the fun of it.. otherwise you’re better off sticking a rocket and a balloon on a dynamic foundation and calling it good 😂

@@petertorok8959 leave those on default channel 3 along with the lift thrusters. It lets you back up a little when you lift up

That’s frustrating! Even when using the auto snap feature it won’t? I don’t think balloons will place sideways unless you’re holding the auto snap button. Good luck to you
