I wrote an article on this subject because I was annoyed with how many people can't get this straight in a rather viral accident/suspicious circumstance situation. An expert speaks and then people parrot. They start up with calling the module Bosch, and fast forward to "newer models will record all your phone data." Maybe, its me but I just think of the ECM and how great it was to finally be able to get a reader and scan your own fault code. The exception is that with this microprocessor you need a pro to do the job, so if you need the data for court you have that. (I know you guys are adamant it is not wise or safe to do it yourself, and I know the equipment/software is prohibitive expensive, but give the hackers a year or so and there will be open source software without an end user issue.

I'd like you to evalate the data in the Karen Read trial. Please evaluate the testimony of Trooper Joe Pail from the MA State Police. It's a travesty of justice. This Trooper even had the key cycles wrong. Just curious if you evaluate crash cases??
