    What's up guys!
    This is not my typical video, I usually keep vlogs for my vlog channel - but this was one of my favorite trips so far!
    I had 5 hours in Japan on a layover between Korea to the States. I left immigration and explored Narita Airport on my own! It was SO fun(, I have never explored a foreign country on my own before not including Korea.) Japan actually encourages leaving immigration on a long layover, and they offer free tours too! I unfortunately did not have enough time to do a tour, but I enjoyed my time in the airport. I officially loveeeeee Japan forever. hahaha. Enjoy! :)

    Omg came across your video and I love it! it's getting me and my husband super excited. We are going to the Philippines this December and we have a 17 hour layover in Japan where we have to stay overnight and leave in the morning for our flight to the Philippines! But anyways, I gotta check out that Pokemon and Hello Kitty store!

    I'm planning to take IAH-NRT and then NRT-CGK route. Do I need to go through the immigration.

      Hey! If you're planning on leaving security like I did to get to the outside terminal area, yes, you have to go through immigration. You're basically entering Japan, so you'll have to do all that stuff to get to where I was. But if you don't want to get to where I was, I believe that you do not have to do immigration, but you will have to do security again for your connecting flight.

    I have a layover as well this coming monday and honestly, i'm super excited, but extremely nervous. I see that there's a lot of english, but i'm afraid the workers might not speak it well?? i don't know! how was your experience with speaking?

      Hey ! I'm not sure if this is too late, but honestly everyone at the airport is super friendly and many can speak english so it's very easy to get around. When they couldn't speak english, we both tried our best to communicate and if it dealt with paying, they would type the price on a calculator or point to it on the machine. I definitely would recommend going out and looking around if you have the time! Totally worth it :) Let me know what you do, I hope your experience is great :)

    When you buy stuff in the airport do you pay with American money ?

    • @missnekkoya
      @missnekkoya  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Aquarius!! I did not, I believe I exchanged money in the airport (they have a tiny bank teller once you're officially outside of immigration) and I used my visa card! Most of the stores there took major credit cards :)

    hi, how long did it take to get to terminal 2(pokemon store) from terminal 1

    • @missnekkoya
      @missnekkoya  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Blueberries! They have busses there that go between terminals, I would give it about 10 minutes once you're on the bus. I'm not sure how often the busses come by though (I'm assuming pretty often).

      Hello! I'm using the Sony A5000 with the normal kit lens, and did not use a handheld tripod in this video, though I have been using it in my latest videos. :) Thanks for stopping by!!
