    I have always loved TCGs, and Invokation got me to come back to Genshin. Been feeling unsure if it's good enough as a TCG to dedicate time to, but your channel really gives me hope since you seem to really care about it and are making really good quality, informative videos that I appreciate a ton! Hoping to use them as inspiration to really bite into this gameplay

      Thank you! I'm a long time TCG player too, and I think GITCG is very well designed, but unfortunately not super accessible for a lot of players due to being locked behind Genshin AR, and also region separated.
      Hoyo definitely seems interested in continuing to support it with official tournament series that I've gotten to cast, so I'm hoping to push that further with these videos.

      @@blepthecat I agree that the AR lockout and the in game lockout is a problem for GITCG. Frankly I wish I could just install it as a standalone on my phone or PC, but it is also very unique due to how it's implimented.

    I dont have Genius Invokation unlocked yet, but honestly it seems right up my ally, as im a fan of stuff like MTG. Thanks for the guides :)

      Definitely check it out if you have time to unlock if you like MTG. It's got quite a lot of depth to it

      @@blepthecatunlocked it earlier today. Currently running a Keqing/Xingqiu/Raiden team where you combo Keqings stilleto and Xingqiu's burst to deal 5 damage a hit.

    This is very insightful and very nicely edited. I’ve been playing for a while but just played somewhat random decks

      Thank you! I definitely want to encourage people playing their own decks - one of these days I'll make a guide on deckbuilding.
      The important thing is to understand how your deck fits into some of these categories and make sure all the cards and characters point in the same direction.

    Such an informative video! I typically run combo decks like Eula/Shenhe/Yoimiya and Klee/Fischl/Keqing - but I really want to try out some hyperaggressive Pyro Res decks after watching this just to see if it's fun for me, since I prefer bursty decks over spread damage decks.

    • @blepthecat
      @blepthecat  ปีที่แล้ว

      I definitely recommend trying a deck from each archetype just to see if you like the playstyle, and also it's a great way to learn how to play against those decks as you get to experience the difficult parts of them.
      Mona Klee is very strong right now so definitely worth giving that a try (though I'm sure it'll be a bad time for your opponents haha)

      @@blepthecat Thank you so much for the recs! I'm trying out the Shenhemo deck you covered in other videos and it's really satisfying to pull off - and the Candace Razor deck you covered briefly in the 3.8 review is one of my new favourites for PvE

    been going through your channel after getting completely hooked on this game, thank you! I kind of stumbled into a winning deck (Ning, Gorou, Zhongli) by accident. It's perhaps not the *best* deck out there but I've successfully stalled several aggressive decks long enough to get tenacity + vortex on Zhongli with enough ramp and dice fixing cards (I find Rana to be insanely good for a single-element deck as well as jade chamber. I know it's considered to be one of the worse cards, but it works great to ensure that I have 2 dice that work for everybody in deck) that I'm able to get him up to a 5+ shield and burst regularly. Usually this winds up with me sacrificing Ning and Gorou though :( I didn't know about Tenshukaku and that sounds like the perfect card for the deck. I'm usually stalling until round 7-8 with it. I have the same problem with my Nilou-Baizhu-Xingqiu bloom deck, where I always wind up with Baizhu carrying everything solo for the last few rounds. I swapped Xingqiu for Kokomi and that's going a little better, but I'd like to get a few victories without winding up sacrificing 2 whole characters for the sake of one haha.
    anyway these are great tips through the whole playlist, thank you! I'm tweaking my decks a lot. Definitely going to be adding treasure seelie to more. I see it played a lot but didn't really understand its use.

    • @blepthecat
      @blepthecat  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Haha I talk people down from Jade Chamber a lot - but if you do happen to be running a Single-element deck, it is actually quite playable there. Although I will say just like in Genshin, reactions are VERY important for TCG so playing without one is quite a big downside.
      Still, if it is working well for you, that's great to hear! Sounds like you're slowly working you way up and learning from playing decks you enjoy, which is the best place to start. Hope to see you around!

    c6 xiao combo deck with raiden and bennett is the most free otk on the entire team, with the ability to dish out upwards of 25 dmg per round

    • @blepthecat
      @blepthecat  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah the examples here are definitely outdated, since there are better and more consistent combos with new cards and characters. The Xiao one works quite well

      The decks here are mostly examples - I don't know that I actually have the decks built right now, but you can probably find lists in tournament histories.
      Some of these (like Itto) are no longer meta though - so best you take the concepts and apply them to more updated decks!

      Definitely a fine option, though i don't see it very often in decks, likely because you alteady have Barbara usually for team heal and it can be much better to focus healing on your the char you are going to win with of you can

    Soo summoning things like crazy its not archetype then? This is what i do😂

    • @blepthecat
      @blepthecat  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Summon decks tend to fall into midrange - they are not quite as fast as aggro decks because their damage tends to happen at the end of a round.
      But really summons are a mechanic and less an archetype - you can have summon decks that are aggro or ones that are stall

    rock paper scissors 🪨📄✂️ i think the player’s skill and card / dice rng are the most important aspects, and any deck can beat any deck with the right amount of skill and luck :)

    • @blepthecat
      @blepthecat  ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely! These aren't automatic wins - in fact I believe bennett cube combo lost to BIN in a pro match recently at WCG despite being a favorable matchup. Anything can still happen, it just takes more skill to win there!
