Thank you! I took a bit of a detour to try other video formats, but I plan the next one to be another in the 101 series. So the cards you can actually get from the hoyowiki directly - if you know how to use inspect element you can find links to the images and the frame separately, and I just combined them and exported images myself. Card box background - if you record a match, there is like 1 - 2 frames just after you redraw your opening when the board is totally clear. You can screenshot that and then edit around any elements you don't want since the board is mostly symmetrical.

I remember using JeanRose with Mona back then before Kenki was nerfed.. it was so fun to disrupt all the Ayamiya decks. I haven't touched it since then, mainly cause the deck needed lots of dice fixes, heals and sustain, and ramp, to be able to cast more skill each round.. So I'm trying it with the new cards, mainly the new equips and support cards for weapons and artifact. With Aquila, Tenacity, and Fruits not only it does a lil more dmg, but also free draws, and Tenacity makes everyone tankier with a free dice.. Vanarana can even collect that dice at the end of the round if hit by summon dmg. I know that the deck isn't the best, and Shenhe is the superior version, but having Mona fast swap and double hydro application means you don't have to worry about opponent switching to avoid Swirl. Since the deck does less dmg the games last longer so stalling a bit feels quite comfy compared to Shenhe dmg buffs.. But I'm having fun trying to fix old decks with new cards :3
I definitely miss the early Mona build of the deck - not only the quickswap but also the summon hitting at end of turn was really good at enabling swirl. But yeah even though Shenhe is less consistent at it, the buff just gives you so much damage it more than makes up for it
My personal favourite rn for the list is Shenhe, Xiao, Kazuha. Xiao has the sheer dps to take out the entire opposing side if you play right and the recent addition to the deck is Engulfing Lightning which cycles his burst at a breakneck pace. Kazuha can act as sucrose light with his talent card while being an emergency DPS if Xiao goes down. Incredibly solid vid though you covered everything in a simple way for newer players to understand. Keep up the good work!!
@@blepthecat I'll agree. Not having a force swap can feel awkward sometimes and almost feels incorrect since it can generate incredible amounts of tempo
Amazing vid , looking forward to see what is in the future , a great help in getting my newbie friend more acquainted to decks , maybe a raiden/xiao carry deck? Or a Lawachurl Noelle deck?

In general her talent isn't very good since it's so specific to normal attacks. In this deck in particular it would only be useful for Kazuha, and you don't plunge with him every game. If you want to use her talent you probably will want to try a cryo focused deck with Chongyun or Ayaka
My favorite is Sucrose and Jean. Don't let them catch a break from being force-swapped 😂 And I also like to make jean a tank with aquila and lucky dog. Id like to try some of the other options out though!
Yes for sure! Sucrose/Jean is why I started playing Double Anemo in the first place! That version's definitely still strong but I wanted to feature Kazuha a bit because he's new haha

I started with that when 3.8 first dropped actually, but I really did miss having a force swap. Definitely a strong choice too!
