► Description:
In this video we demonstrate how to configure a Dahua IP camera/ DVR/ NVR to send tripwire alarm alerts to any cell phone or PC. A tripwire is an area set up by the user that will send an alarm notification is a person or vehicle crosses it. Tripwire alarms are more accurate and effective than motion activated alerts that can be set up by light changes, trees moving in the wind or severe weather.

how about sir when i put stripwire in gate? if iopen the gate it will be notify me for that ?
Yes you can target the gate and when people or vehicles enter it will trigger the tripwire and send you the alert.
I have used this feature on a couple of my cameras for several years but sometime around early June it has stopped working. When I go to the email settings in setup everything is set the same as yours like it has been but the test fails. Has gmail done a security update or something I need to uncheck or check within gmail?
I have heard that is the case. Apparently they removed the 3rd party app function I will look into it!
@@WentworthCCTV I’ve tried to setup notification alerts on DMSS app without success. There was a point in time years ago I had that working but I think disabled it and now it doesn’t seem to work but I think it was on the older version of the app.
I wish it was an app rather than mail. Seems like google wont allow to use third party programs also, gotta use another mail service
You can enable alerts through the DMSS phone app as well if you don't want to set up email alerts. Maybe Ill do a video on that process as well.
