I just watched another video of yours in which you recommend avoiding products that are being sold by the brand themselves on the listing. But here it seems we are specifically seeking out un-gated branded products (which seemingly 99% of the time are being sold by the brand on Amazon listings.) Is this not risky for the same reasons as mentioned in the other video (getting booted off listings, IP infractions, etc?)
Most disturbing Problem of online arbitrage is that the products carry different UPC numbers then the UPC number that already exist in the listing of that product on amazon

No brother. I started my account 2 months ago. Despite what these TH-cam 'experts' tell you, Amazon has more gates than Area 51. It's extremely difficult to do anything without your own brand.
@@dantepearl4186 have you tried buying the 10 units from different brands like Nike and sent receipts to Amazon to prove it to ungrateful those brands?
Yeah if you go try to list a product it will auto approve you if you can auto ungate. If not, it will ask you for an invoice which you can get from any major retailer

This video seems a little misleading.. I have not been able to auto ungate any of the brands besides colourpop and I have sold over 50 items on my seller account

Besides for being gated for all the brands you tried sourcing today i went through the first bunch on the spreadsheet linked in the description and im gated for all besides 1 brand ....account 2 months old about 1k in sales so far
Try ungating some bigger brands. I only have 200 in sales and I just ungated PUMA

It sucks you have to buy the product first and then submit the information to see if you can sell it. I’m just getting started and not sure exactly how you can buy stuff at Walmart, tj max, etc and then put them on Amazon when you only get a receipt and not an invoice.

@@aldogomez5734 but once you ungate using a invoice from a wholesaler. Does that mean you no longer need invoices and can start buying items from Walmart and such?

@@Carib1-j9i but it needs to be a invoice with your business name and address that matches your fba seller account. Most wholesale distributors require an actual business license with a EIN number. These videos don’t tell you that kind of stuff. A true invoice is needed to get ungated and minimal of 10 items is needed of the same product to be able to submit to be approved. Once approved then you are able to truly buy at Walmart, tj max, Ross, etc without invoices and send the products in that is now ungated since you used the invoice method first..this isn’t said in any videos to help people
That's not exactly how it works. You find out if you can sell by just clicking on "Add a Product". If you search for a name brand or asin, go through the process of trying to list it and then you'll get your answer. If more steps are required to list something, it will tell you to purchase 10 items from an authorized supplier. Walmart, Target etc.. don't count if you are looking to get proper Invoice in order to ungate.

How does seller amp calculate fees? Realistically, you gotta pay prep centers ($1.5/product as I am living outside of US), Cost to ship product to Amazon warehouse($0.6/lb), Fulfillment fee ($5-8/product), Seller central fee ($40/month), referral fee(15% of listing price) and storage fee. So lets say you sell a product for $25 and product is 2lb. Out of $25, the fees associated alone would be around $16. How on earth is seller amp calculating such low fee? Their estimates are not realistic. Fields of Profit bro, if you can explain a bit more on this please? Because I am seeing a lot of fees involved and in order to actually make profit, you need to sell an item for 4-5 times it's original price.
The app is customized, you can add all the fees that applies to you so it can calculate profitability for your specific market

I found a few from just what he showed on the screen. Bandaid, Purina, and Carnation. I haven't sold much but my account is probably about 2yrs old. Request the approvals, even if you have to go one by one on pages

What does spending $40/month mean as a response here? Does that ungate products?
@@rodrigocampos3084you must not be on Amazon yet. $40/month is the monthly fee for a Professional sellers account on Amazon. It will not guarantee an ungate but only allow the possibility - amongst other features.
