Fair point particularly this year with its crippling humidity that would have no doubt been choking even the best motors on the grid. It would eventually choke the Vanwall to death!
It's a real shame to see them go but with no support from the FIA or WEC to keep the privateers competitive and no big backer from a big car manufacturer they were gonna be swallowed up by the manufacturer and engine development arms race that it's gonna become. Sad to see a car that looked awesome and really did have some decent potential (imo just needed more power and maybe better brakes) disappear from the grid 😕
