by the way the reptiles in the episode attack of the alligators were real as well granted they were played by crocodiles but what I mean is they weren’t animatronics.
When I was young I actually wrote to the BBC to ask how Thunderbird 4 was retrieved. The response I got was: 'Don't ask me I'm only an aardvark.'

A brand new Thunderbird series using the art of supermarionation would be wonderul.
I always like how Thunderbird 4 is always dirty. In 'Desperate Intruder', I'm amused at just how filthy it is. All this fantastic rescue equipment, and yet nobody thought to buy Kyrano a pressure washer...
I found it really strange. It's almost like they neglected it and never cleaned it.
A other brilliant episode in the TT series - can't believe there's only 2 TTs to go.

I would have loved to have seen Thunderbird 4 go back into pod 4 and see how Thunderbird 2 retrieves Pod 4 from the water. I always wanted to know how Thunderbird 4 got back into the Pod and how Thunderbird 2 retrieves the pod this video answers my question so thanks for the video.
I’ve never understood how so many people were so mystified by how they recover TB4 and Pod 4. It just always seemed so obvious to me
I always wondered if there was a turntable situated at the back of the pod, to turn it around once it had gone back up the ramp..
Goes to show that Critical Thinking skills are no longer being taught. :'(
Thunderbird 2 lowering to the water was always the part I didn't think of. I assumed the pod was winched up.
i don’t think they ever showed in the series how it returned to pod 4

We never see it. The pod will move around in the water looks impossible to pick it up 😄 still i loved the show as a kid

Stingray had the best theme
Thunderbird 4 - the original Yellow Submarine...two years before that song came out.
Kinda want one of these briefings to end with Brains being interrupted by Are Go Brains. Spacetime rifts are not particularly inline with either stories but it'd be fun none the less.
Sorry to disappoint you, but that won't be happening :) Very separate universes, and nothing to do with us either!

Hmm so What I learned today is TB2 can float !! (potentially)
So perhaps if no suitable landing location was available it could land on a lake.
It'd still be using its VTOL jets though it probably could float, as seen in The Man From MI5
Thunderbird 4 is an ok submarine, next weeks to me the coolest Sub.

There's nothing special about Thunderbird 6, it's an original unmodified Tiger Moth :)
