Without recourse to either vintage drums or hipster beard, drummer and bandleader doffs his metaphorical cap in the general direction of the past masters of the drums, whilst throwing in a few contemporary vibes for good measure. Filmed at Ian Palmer's The World's Greatest Drummer concert, Northampton Uk in 2017. The tune of course is Bill Holman's arrangement of Bugle Call Rag originally recorded by Buddy Rich in 1967.
