Hey everyone! Thank you so much to Petrolicious I’m so very honored! Your distinguished film making is incredible! Kudo’s to the film maker! 😉 I’m grateful to Performance Technic for the use of their facility for the interview. And Thank you to 2002 Garage Werks for putting up with me as an ‘Attention to Detail’ customer! 😉 I appreciate all the hard work you helped put into TESORO. I’m forever grateful to all my friends who have supported me whether it was your positive feedback or helping me source parts for TESORO’s build. Happy Motoring and Drive Tastefully!
Cool woman and love her style . Clothes and car and even her classic gloves. The color of the total classic car compliments her style of clothes also. I like her also have a faulding chair in my boot for that much needed coffee brake at a nice spot .
Jaikee Berlin in my 76 you need to push the trunk down and hit the button. Honestly I think it’s the best security measure because nobody can ever figure it out.
Hope my family understand why I choose all these oldies, old cars seem to disciplining me to be planful and focus. At the same time, they educate us on what's wrong with them when something going to fail.
Saw this car on Jay Leno's Garage a while back. Loved it then and love it now. As an early 70's 2002 owner I can attest to the fantastic drivability and overall automotive aura these cars have, they are as fun to drive as they are to just study and admire. And for those of you who aren't familiar, this awesome 2002's caretaker Lisa, is a true car girl and petrol head. She owns a couple stunning bimmers. I say it every week and I'll say it again, great job Petrolicious!
Were can i find a fine woman like this! More rare than the vehicle and much harder to find!!! And this channel is what cars are all about! Not to commute but to be driven!!! To be loved and to be shared!! Ah well ill keep serching! For the woman that is! I have my mustang 😉!
What a well done film. Cinematography was fantastic, darkness and shadows with the light just barely peeking through the trees really helped reveal the depth of the car. And what an awesome owner! She’s truly passionate about driving and it shows. Wish more people out there thought the same.
Driven that road many, many times. Love seeing it filmed here and revisiting it now that I am 3,000 miles away. Beautiful car with a beautiful driver on a beautiful piece of road.
Great vid, great owner, great car. I owned a '72 2002 for 233k miles -- original unmodified engine (except for taking off the air pump). I love them. About this car -- I really appreciate keeping the car stock in it's appearance. But, please, Lisa, do yourself a favor and get a smaller, thicker steering wheel. It's a lot more fun. Secondly, in all these BMW 2002 vids, no one mentions the two things I loved most about them -- (1) the absolutely astonishing vision out of the "glass room." No blind spots. And (2) How well they take a corner. How they quickly "settle" into a groove and stick in the curve, giving you plenty of warning before losing grip. These cars were designed and built to go around corners. And believe me, there is no more fun than driving around corners fast in a car that has the perfect amount to oversteer.
It’s when I hear others talk about they’re affection for their machines that I feel normal. Just to drive for the sake of driving. This is another masterpiece. Well done!
The comments from this lovely lady about manual transmissions and the wonderful exhaust note starting at 5:37 made this video so special. Thank you Lisa and Petrolicious.
Good for Lisa for restoring this beautiful car. In 1973 I ordered a brand new 2002 in British Racing green with caramel coloured interior from a small dealer in my town. Hardly anyone in my area new what they were. Likely the biggest regret of my life I did not keep that car. It was a beauty and so wonderful to drive.
This was a great film. It was really nice to listen to the way she talks about her car. Very educated about her car and has great taste with a down to earth vibe.
Art in motion. You phrase things so well. You're right - it's an honour to keep these vintage cars on the road. I have a classic Saab 900 Turbo and a Eunos JC Cosmo and love them both. I always take the opportunity to give them a run, when the sun is out. And always good feedback from other drivers and passers by. I hope you still have the 02. An iconic design.
Hey, i’ve owned five 2002s since 1989. I still own a 1976 that I promised to my daughter before she even was legal. Great job with your video. Lisa, you look like your car was meant for you. Wishing you more happy joy riding!!!

This is the first Petrolicious video I've stopped for. I appreciate that it's one of my favorite cars, that it's a woman who loves it, and is comfortable in her command of what she wants in it, her knowledge and that she LOVES to drive. I trained all 3 of my daughters to do basic maintenance on their cars, so that even if they didn't choose to do their own maintenance, so they would know when a mechanic was telling the truth or trying to BS them. They still thank me. And my wife loves her '06 Mustang GT, also a 5-speed. Recently some wrench-er at the local Ford dealership where she brought it for service commented that he couldn't believe that a woman owned and enjoyed a 5-speed GT. Pretty odd to still find someone with that attitude in the San Jose Bay Area of CA. Not sure where he grew up , but we eventually could laugh about it.

lisa, l owned 3 bmw's in the seventies, a 1972 2002,1973 2002, and 1978 320i. my favorite was the round tailight 1972. it was silver blue and i still think about it today. it was the original " pocket rocket" and influenced all the sport coupes to this day. what was great about it was the perfect combination of light weight and power..it was also easy to service and trouble free, much like the early volvos. i truely loved that car, yours is a beauty and i totally understand how you feel about it. its a true classic. thank you for a great video!!!🚀😅
You look very good behind the steering wheel of your 2002....glad to see that a latin lady like you can find pure joy by owning a German box car.....As a little boy in Germany, the 2002 was the car to dream about when trying to figure out what car will give the most joy and performance for the Deutsche Mark.....

Thank you Lisa, for putting words to how it feels to drive a classic or vintage car :-)
Well done Lisa and thank you on behalf of the 02 community!
lisa, l owned 3 bmw's in the seventies, a 1972 2002,1973 2002, and 1978 320i. my favorite was the round tailight 1972. it was silver blue and i still think about it today. it was the original " pocket rocket" and influenced all the sport coupes to this day. what was great about it was the perfect combination of light weight and power..it was also easy to service and trouble free, much like the early volvos. i truely loved that car, yours is a beauty and i totally understand how you feel about it. its a true classic. thank you for a great video!!!🚀😅
one of the best 2002's i've seen so far. so clean
The owner's commentary is spot on. God damn I love 2002s.
WOW, a lot of tasteful mods done to this beautiful classic! Well done!
Her voice is comforting. She deserves a new BMW ///M2.
Every word, and every camera shot, is why I subscribe to your video channel. Thank you.
You look very good behind the steering wheel of your 2002....glad to see that a latin lady like you can find pure joy by owning a German box car.....As a little boy in Germany, the 2002 was the car to dream about when trying to figure out what car will give the most joy and performance for the Deutsche Mark.....
Hands down best channel on TH-cam
I always love to see women who have a strong passion for cars, especially classic pieces of art such as this BMW 2002
Excellent story! Love seeing the BMW 2002 shown in such a cinematic style - well done!
« Why not do that tastefully »....she understood it all !
Thanks Lisa and Petrolicious for the excellent video.
Awesome car. I have owned a few 2002s. Love the round taillight cars. Restoring a 73 911 at the moment cannot wait to drive it!
I drive my 67' 1600 with a 2liter higher comp motor w a mild cam in the Bay Area mountain roads, it needs a few things but it's a blast to drive
beautiful video and awesome owner! Saw her back on Jay Leno's Garage as well. A real BMW Enthusiast
