New Wheel Bearing & Seal Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ASH...
This video shows you how to install new rear wheel bearings from TRQ on your 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you hear a grinding or groaning noise while your vehicle is rolling, it might have a worn out wheel bearing. A worn bearing can allow the wheel to wobble, creating a host of other issues. To save yourself from more headaches down the road, replace your bearing right away. For solid rear axles, you'll need to replace the axle seal too.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee
2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee
2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee
2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

That notch is for the parking brake cable
Very useful video I was chuckling at all the nice new shiney parts with new nuts, no fighting 20 year old rust
I watched 3 videos on this all from you. In the last vid I watched I mentioned hoping you did a vid on the bearings. Now I'm prepared. Thank you and I'll sub for sure. Good work.
This was the video I needed. Thank you.
I had this done recently and I'm trying to figure out how I can tell if they actually did the job, what's the easiest way to tell?
How long do these bearings last? Is it worth it to just buy the entire assembly?
Thanks for the info I'll be coming back and reviewing the video for when I start my change
What happens if you put the bearing in backwards? Looks like the whole bearing would come out at one time.
Would a 6 ton press beable to push the the bushing enough
The ''race'' is the ring that holds the bearing on. What he calls the race is the bearing ''cup'' Sure wish they'd use proper names for components. Bearing races used to have set screws that held them to the shafts on machinery. You can heat the race and then just tap it into place and when it cools it will be tight just like installing a ring gear on a flywheel.
"Hi, why do you use a different wheel bearing when pressing it in, as initially shown in the video?"
awesome vid
Где вы берёте такие ржавые тачки? У меня GMS Envoy 2003 года, вообще как новый снизу.
Why my man right here tell me 70 ft lbs for the caliper bolts on all the brake videos 🤔
2:30 "grab your rotor, wiggle it off, and set it aside." THATS NOT HELPFUL TO THE MAJORITY OF THE POPULATION 😂😂😂 Most peoples rotors are gonna be pretty jammed on there and just saying "okay now take this piece off" isn't helpful at all.
What's with all the rubber gloves these days? Have mechanics gotten so wossified they can't get their hands dirty?
Did you take the new bearing apart because my new bearing doesn't look like that?
+@James-ju1el The bearing was not taken apart. If you are having issues with a part purchased please contact customer service directly.
