Wasn’t Lionel coaching you?
Did you talk about that in a previous video?
Lionel once did, very briefly. But always acted as an amazing sounding board and role model to me. I asked him at the end of last season if he would consider it. But he just doesn’t have the time at the moment (obviously lol).
Big T! I'm not seeing it much or at all in your swimming videos, but do you spend any significant time drafting faster swimmers in the pool? It's how most "serious" adult swimmers get faster quicker (and gain better drafting skills). Either on a fast Master's squad/lane or with faster swim training partners!
@@ReVoltaire yes doing this!
What’s your race schedule for 2024
@@trevorfoley7236did you see Ari Klau went to Australia to improve his swimming
Coach's philosophy sounds solid and well customized to your specific ability and level of maturity in tri. Good luck!
Love coach Wes! He gave me my very first open water clinic when he was coaching in Utah.
I love this coach approach.!!!
Just be patient TF.
This is your best video yet!!
Love what this coach is saying and doing with you, if you get a dog please rescue so many great dogs
Love this coach's vibes! Super chilled and methodical. Looking forward to seeing the results 🔥
Hey genuine question for you/Wes/Justin: there seems to be a lot of chats about the importance of swim training in a 50m/yd pool VS 25m/yd pool (especially since Ari has been to Australia, plus some of the comments on your videos and on Lionel's videos).
What's the view on that?
Cheers mate
Lots of wisdom in this video; sounds like a world class approach. This is gonna be the best season yet!
Hi Trevor, thank you so much for sharing this video with us. It’s super helpful for me because it gives me a lot of insight and motivation. I really appreciate your willingness to share and I wish you the best of luck in your races. I’ll be rooting for you. Keep going strong, your athletic abilities and work ethic are impeccable.
Nice one Trevor! Keep working man 💪🔥
Seems like a great group to have around. Can't wait to see how it sets you up for years to come.
Love the content. What I'd really like to hear is what exactly is it you are working on technique wise. I get the adding volume and always hear takeout speed is a big requirement at the level you are competing but just throwing in laps seems too simplistic.
Good work!
Great video
Let's go. Love wes
all pro tri starting to takecthis season super seriously. its going to be some fearce racing
Lovely level
nice work Wes will help you a lot with Justin for sure
No HRM or just wrist based?
"Tuscon" hihi
4:32 - spot on observation. There is no excuse - for a professional athlete with a number of year’s experience - to not be able to stick like glue to the feet of another triathlete (or a bunch) that is up to 10% (at least) faster in the pool. It always baffles me why Lionel - who has swum a 18.51 LONG COURSE 1500M in preseason training a few years back gets dropped out of his target ‘Ditlev Pack’ group all the time. 18>51 equates to 1:15 min/100M pace & that second pack doesn’t average much more than that. Even the mid swim pace surges wouldn’t be below 1:10s.
You misspelled your hometown name - it’s “TUCSON”
If someone tried to draft off me aggressively in a race I would just start kicking like no other
Why does he breathe every 2 strokes?
Key conversation….que Airplane
Goldens are such sweet harts
Yo Trev, why did I get kicked from your clan bro?
What was your username?!
