Rens team went back to Kujo and said you are responsible for this(based on the beat stars contract) and should absorb this % out of your %. Kujo and his team said NO. Ren tried multiple ways to reach a compromise even though he did NOT need to do anything further. Kujo and his team dug their heels in further and so Diss Theater was born. Oh and Kujo's GF interjected herself into this all by her boss girl self.

He took the Kujo beat down. Being a diss track, all bets are off, all cards are on the street floor and no subject is sacred. It was a stupid thing to say on two levels because - 1- Ren is in usually Brighton 2- Now Ren can add threats of violence to copyfraud, actual breach of contract, anticipatory breach of contract, libel, defamation AND extortion. Kujobeats isn't just finished in the music industry, he's going to pretty much be totally eradicated from it. Beatstars may even go through his entire back catalogue on their platform and see if every single beat has been copyright cleared. If not then he may face copyfraud and breach of contract charges on each beat. If he's got 500 beats and just 50% of them breach copyright - that's a fuckton of shit he's just dropped on himself.

I think his line, "I'm the subject matter you're a part of the scenery," is so good because of its depth. In this context, it is clearly an insult... however, a slight rewording and inflection change, and the meaning is positive. "I'm the subject matter; you brought life with the scenery," for example. Any artist knows that the background/foundation is important. Wether it be music or visuals, Ren definitely doesnt downplay the importance in the details. What matters most is the quality, and with a producer proud of their work, Ren would highlight their worth beautifully.
So kujo hit ren with a copywrite strike but kujo himself was the one who stole a part of the beat from a hungarian choir so how did the he bot face the legal ramifications of that but was able to hold the song hostage. I know, at least in U.S. law, if you recieve stolen goods not knowing they are stolen, then your not liable or accountable to legal ramifications.
The Scenery part, I believe, is mostly about the fact that the song was literally about Ren's experiences, not Kujo's. Thus, the point is that he went to far in taking down REN's story.

Pretty sure the disclaimer at the end is just because of the ongoing legal stuff. Rather than giving Kujos lawyer something to twist, hes putting the disclaimer there.
Ren produces MOST of his stuff on his own. He was looking for beats to inspire himself and found one he really liked so, bought the unlimited license so he could use it. He took it, changed it some, added to it, wrote the lyrics, and then put it all together. He will be releasing a NEW SickBoy song that he will fully produce to go with his lyrics (I'm still hoping he gets the Bulgarian Choir to perform for the new release). Usually, IF he works with a producer, he is very fair. I don't think he has burned any bridges with this one. Kujo, on the other hand, selling a beat which he had not cleared all the samples from... has committed carer ______.

Always love your reactions! 💙 Ren's video is worth the watch. After the DMCA takedown, Ren removed the song from streaming platforms himself. Didn't want to be extorted.
If you know more about it (Ren has a long ass vid detailing everything with proof and receipts) then you would know that him calling him “scenery” is justified lmao he stole a sample, got greedy and wanted more than he deserved (nothing) and “Sick Boi” is literally about Ren, he was the subject matter quite literally and Kujo was the scenery.
Kujo is mad because there was a hold up on his rightful publishing cut being paid to him. BUT, the reason it was "ultimately" delayed was because Kujo himself sold a beat to Ren that contained an unlicensed sample. Kujo had no rights to that sample. The sample owner then later came after Rens team for their piece of the pie. Rens team went back to Kujo and said you are responsible for this(based on the beat stars contract) and should absorb this % out of your %. Kujo and his team said NO. Ren tried multiple ways to reach a compromise even though he did NOT need to do anything further. Kujo and his team dug their heels in further and so Diss Theater was born. Oh and Kujo's GF interjected herself into this all by her boss girl self.

Apparently the people in white represent the Bulgarian choir and they die at the end because without their sample the song Sick Boi is dead (I read this from someone else's comment). I think he said in his earlier post and his comment on this video that he would sue their asses off as part two if this isn't the end of it.

After being dropped by Sony & then, have a beat producer try & bleed him after he got a strike for selling him a stolen sample, Ren's justifiably untrusting of the music industry. He doesn't need producers/managers/commodity parasites to create his art.
Ren's alter ego IS Sick Boi. It's his balance to both sides of him. The light can't exist without the dark and vice versa. Now Ren is feeling unbalanced, the dark has been removed. In Hi Ren he said it was an eternal pendulum and the brighter the light shone, the darker the shadow it cast. Now there's nothing but light and it's going to cast some REALLY Dark shadows.
The title "Kujo beatdown" is a triple entendre. It plays on Kujobeats, the verbal ballistic smackdown diss, AND, the fact that Ren removed Sick Boi from all streaming platforms.
He took the Kujo beat down.
Being a diss track, all bets are off, all cards are on the street floor and no subject is sacred. When he referenced Kujo's gf liking it rough, she said in an IG message exchange that she'd fly to London and break his kneecaps. It was a stupid thing to say on two levels because -
1- Ren is in usually Brighton
2- Now Ren can add threats of violence to copyfraud, actual breach of contract, anticipatory breach of contract, libel, defamation AND extortion.
Kujobeats isn't just finished in the music industry, he's going to pretty much be totally eradicated from it.
Beatstars may even go through his entire back catalogue on their platform and see if every single beat has been copyright cleared. If not then he may face copyfraud and breach of contract charges on each beat. If he's got 500 beats and just 50% of them breach copyright - that's a fuckton of shit he's just dropped on himself.

I think the line about - I’m the subject matter and you’re part of the scenery, might refer to the fact this whole issue is over the Sick Boi song and that whole song if about Ren and his struggles with his health. So he is literally the subject matter of the song.

However, Ren IS a producer.
The majority of his work is self produced.
And after this particular fall out, i don't see him very eagerly seeking a producer when he can just do it himself, much like he will on the sick boi re-release.

Agreed! And Ren took the beat he bought and changed the arrangement and added the guitar. Kujo only gave him the lumber to build with and when he did, he gave Ren stolen nails to work with and didn't tell him they were stolen.... Dude should've taken the deal Ren offered him, other artists would kill for that offer! (I'm sure Dotta is BS that Kujo was offered to make a song with Ren and split it 50/50 cuz he's been wanting to do just that for months!)

That’s not referring to the production or the producer as the scenery, that’s referring to the personality, kujo, as the scenery in comparison to ren in the broader context of this situation and the story as a whole, not the song itself.
The 💩💩Kujo caused is not clearing the sample as he was bound to ensure per contract. So REN lost his rights to his personal sharing of his sikness SicBoi. Please , listen to his 35 explanation of what happened and Kujo and his tramps publicly defamation of REN. I could go on more listen to it directly from Rens mouth.
1st half is a call back to Hi Ren - his alter ego and the hope that was the rope when you loosen the noose.
One of the worst things too.. on BeatStars, Kujo has/had on his profile Sick Boi - “Producer” correct, “SongWriter” WHAAAAT!! Total Lies!
It was and extortion attempt. Nothing less. Unforgivable.
He has to have the disclaimer at the beginning because this could go to court, and they could claim he is threatening them. So he does need the disclaimer to prove it artistic license and that he doesn't want his fans harassing them.
I think his line, "I'm the subject matter you're a part of the scenery," is so good because of its depth. In this context, it is clearly an insult... however, a slight rewording and inflection change, and the meaning is positive.
"I'm the subject matter; you brought life with the scenery," for example.
Any artist knows that the background/foundation is important. Wether it be music or visuals, Ren definitely doesnt downplay the importance in the details. What matters most is the quality, and with a producer proud of their work, Ren would highlight their worth beautifully.
I don't think he did, but he does now, Sick Boi is the new Slim Shady. But the back and forth is good ren v bad ren as seen in "Ren - Hi Ren."
So kujo hit ren with a copywrite strike but kujo himself was the one who stole a part of the beat from a hungarian choir so how did the he bot face the legal ramifications of that but was able to hold the song hostage. I know, at least in U.S. law, if you recieve stolen goods not knowing they are stolen, then your not liable or accountable to legal ramifications.
Scenery is important but in a different way. It depends on how you perceive his words
The Scenery part, I believe, is mostly about the fact that the song was literally about Ren's experiences, not Kujo's. Thus, the point is that he went to far in taking down REN's story.
