I’m so excited that Frisk, not only are releasing mark making supplies, but they have very kindly sent some to me to try out!
Of course I’m going to use them and share my thoughts and the processes used during the piece!

Thank you Colleen ♥️ I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was a fun process adding those layers and isopropanol alcohol to make all of those pigments bloom! Highly recommend this technique if you want to mix it up a bit. Works really well on a porous paper so those colours spread 😍

Thank you Lyra ♥️ it's such a fun and expressive way to use these markers. It's a bit smelly with the fumes so if you try it make sure there's lots of fresh air around you!

Thank you Karen ♥️ I'm glad you like it! I love playing around with the different effects and textures that can be made with alcohol markers. They are wonderful for flat and even areas of colour. But a splash of isopropyl alcohol and they become magic ✨

I’m not a big market fan but I adore how you made these resemble paints. I don’t think that Frisk products are available in the US yet (and shipping is way too much), but they promised a US storefront is coming! 🥳

I am not quite in the mood yet for autum.. way too warm at the moment 😞 Love how your picture turned out and I really feel like being there myself. And the markers seem to have a good quality, too!
