Jumping is so much fun. I have the amazing pleasure of learning how to ride from a man who has trained racehorses, jumped grand prix, and has done 3-day eventing over the past 50 years.
I don't think I truly appreciated how HIGH these horses are jumping until I tried jumping myself. The fact that people can do this is just crazy to me, it's amazing! These horses are jumping almost their own heights carrying weight on their backs!
i ride barrels and i taught my horse to jump but we could never jump like this. its way too expensive anyway. but i would love to take him into a novice class if they allowed hackamores
Can anyone tell me the different levels of show jumping? (In the USA) I've heard some people answer "Levels 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9" and I've also heard "junior, amateur, training, preliminary, intermediate, open, grand prix". Which one, if either, is it? Thanks! :)
