A funny story about this. Years ago the soloist IU had given out gifts to music VIPs at a concert that included an 'IOU' for one guest artist collab. Then IU became the biggest artist in Korean. A huge superstar. Then the duo AKMU presented her with her old IOU , obliging her to collab on this song. IU said they were the only people to use that IOU.
AKMU is the sister-brother team whose music producer / song wroter is brother Chanhyuk. His music production is one of the best I have ever heard in Kpop. Do react to one of their best songs - Dinosaur. Thsy teamed up with one of the very GOAT singer songwriter, IU. She has probably the most number of no.1 of the charts songs in Kpop. She wrote most of her songs. You will love her.

In the Palette episode they mentioned that Akmu and IU met back in 2014. I checked back and "SBS Now" still has some small clips of this on their TH-cam channel. Sadly, the biggest clip is most of their live singing together with Kim ChanWan. The singing is great, but I guess you'd have to watch the small clips to hear them all talking.
