Sometimes I watch these just to make sure I'm not one of the dumbass teammates catching a stray from Emongg
I'm impressed with their Mercy's longevity, several times they followed the Dva in, got left there and still got out, amazing.
Would've folded without that mercy
As a plat Dva they could try ulting on the floor instead of up in the air constantly. Air up landing bombs gives the enemy more time to hide, that's why I use off angles or roll it on the ground stats. Also they need to know when to escape when they're low HP or when to reset.
This feels like a case of them not knowing what they can and can't eat with the matrix also. They tried to eat the ram punches and moira ult many times
yes! I remember when I first really started playing the game in 2018, I didn't know dva could even eat any ults or what normal damage could be eaten and what couldn't be (so imagine my surprise and confusion the first time I ate a mei ult while randomly playing dva in qp lmao I was like "where did it go????"). there's a lot that the game doesn't tell you.
is there any video where it show what she can and cant eat ? i also dont know how to figure it out, i know the absics like moiras orbs but thats it, i had no clue you could eat bastions ult too
@@borzoi2006she eats projectiles. So any ult that has a projectile component to it (e.g. also Hanzo ult with its arrow) can be eaten.

Also another thing to add, their movement was way too unnecessarily erratic. It felt they were just moving to move sometimes. Like when they boosted they would keep spinning and zigzagging. There were a bunch of missed kills because of that. Using missiles too early or late, and then focusing too much on hitting the melee boost combo. They should just use the regular burst combo with boost, missiles, shoot. I didn’t see this person do that a single time. Every time they would go in way too late on a single target. Like they let the soldier get away a bunch of times cuz they were too scared to fight them.
I get what they were trying to do, using boosters to disrupt the enemy team isn’t something you should be constantly doing tho. Just zeroing onto a target is good enough. Their aim actually wasn’t awful either, so if they just did that more often I’m sure there would have been more elims here and there
I feel like that erratic movement is why the kept pressing DM so much. There were times this person should have slowed down and assessed the situation more.
Yeah! i totally agree. I'm a Dva main and if I'm chasing down someone i just fly straight at them you don't need to be moving all over the place constantly. You end up missing so many shots if you do that so I think it's probably better not to.
awful matrix usage and too much frontlining and feeding in the backline. However, the dude knows how to use highgrounds and is great at following up and his target priority wasn’t half bad. Definitely has potential to climb

Too much front lining? Yeh I don't think they're supposed to be behind their DPS or supports or sm-
Yk, I think tanks are *supposed* to be frontline, I think the correct saying is "being isolated too often" or "straying from the team"
@@anonymall nope, they are not always supposed to “frontline”. Especially if you are playing against a brawl tank as dva. You control the highgrounds, slightly off-angle and poke while looking for dive opportunities and look out for your backline to able to peel for them.
@@bbpoItergeist control highgrounds, look for dive targets, peel for the backline. You only engage in a frontline fight with the enemy brawl tank if you got the upper hand (your team got a pick, they are low/naded etc.)
She didn’t have downtime in her team fights, I think that’s what you were trying to say. Tanks aren’t able to constantly take damage hence shields, dm, shout etc, along with brief downtimes to allow supports to heal them. This Dva is neglecting the downtime portion of the tank cycle and is trying to use the dm to substitute for it, which it obviously can’t do. it would be a bit different for a hero like jq for example who heals off of wounds as well allowing her to have little downtime and instead playing around corners and map geometry

Emong forgot about his missle usage for burst dmg, he kept using it like it was a hitscan when u should be using up close, especially when diving

@@-camaro that I actually don't know, but I would be surprised if the challenge series or spectating stuff wasn't all put on TH-cam. I think the stuff that stays on streams is mostly just ranked gameplay

@@Siks7Ate9 yeah that's why I don't play tank in comp anymore. Its just not fun, which is too bad because it was fun climbing to diamond in OW1. I just play support competitively now.
@@commentbot9510 yeah I'm currently in diamond 3 myself on tank. I have done my 'placement' matches so far and played dps for the rest of it. Played a total of 3 minutes with 50+games won on both mei bastion and sym.

So I am a console player. I’m actually really good at the game, I can translate my controller movements onto PC relatively well. I’ve been hard stuck silver for months now and I used to be High Gold Low-Mid Plat in OW1. It just crushes my motivation to go 40-7 with 10k dmg, 5 games in a row; get placed silver 1, grind out another 5 with the same stats just to get deranked all the down to Silver 5. Like I said it just crushes my motivation and makes me think I’m a shitty player, sorry if I knocked the vibe a little bit just wanted to share something and get it off my chest.
And they said they were tired of carring games? Lmao
No. They said they want to be able to carry games, for which they need to find out what to improve on.

as a Mercy player, nothing infuriates me more than Mercy players who heal bot the tank. at that point just play Ana or Bap. 38k healing on Mercy is deranged numbers. you should always try to be with your DPS players, especially in this situation where they had a soldier. even if you think DPS players in low ranks can't hit stuff, you'd be surprised what damage boost enables them to do, even if they are bad.
