What photo do you use for reference im trying to make my parter something as a tribute to his late father and this owls expression and position is perfect
I used a photo that I took at the Texas Renaissance Festival Bird Show. You can find free photos as well as websites where you can pay a small fee for the use of the photos. After you pick out a photo you can crop it so that you get a close up position.
Ahh i will have to look around more then unless you are happy to share the original photo, as its not something I will be selling simply a Christmas present 😊
@@SQU1SHYFAC3 Thank you for the inquiry to the photo for this quilt, however, this quilt is currently in a traveling exhibit and I have given the Museum the right to use the image for promotional purposes. This quilt is also for sale. Because of this I am unable to give you permission to use the photo. Thank you for asking and I know that there are many wonderful photos online and wish you the best of luck!
Gorgeous owl art piece 😊❤️👍
Thank you!
Beautiful and looks like fun!
Thank you!
This just beautiful. What kind of fabric are you painting on and do you treat it with anything prior to painting?
Thank you! I use cotton fabric and just wash it before I transfer the drawing. Thanks for watching!
This is fabulous!! How do you secure the fabric? It looks very flat and stable.
Thank you! I have it clipped to foam board that is covered with batting and fabric. It absorbs the paint. Thanks for the questions!
what type of paint do you use ? the eye looks so real in the quilt
Thank you! I use soft bodied and fluid acrylics of many different brands. Thanks for the question!
Please what colors would you suggest on a canvas with a blue and white background
