I love that u try food stuff because we don’t have interesting foods like that in Norway so it’s exciting to see. but I also enjoy that there’s a nice mix of different topics where you are sometimes serious, personal, silly, celebrity, like, I think it’s so varied. Happy birthday Madison!! I spent my last birthday alone and I was feeling sorry for myself for the first part of it, but then I remembered that having no one there meant that I get to do all the things that I enjoy doing without having to worry about whether anyone else is having a good time, I could watch whatever I wanted to watch, listen to the music that I like, decide whether I wanted to stay at home and be cosy or if I wanted to go out. I decided that I could spend the day doing things that make me happy! You are allowed to celebrate yourself! If you enjoy going for walks, find somewhere pretty and peaceful, somewhere that makes you feel happy and just go for a walk!! I live close to a canal and it is so pretty, it’s usually really quiet, unless something has set off the birds or the ducks!! I often bring a bag of bird seed with me so I can feed the ducks and water fowl! That is my happy, calm, peaceful place, where I generally always feel great, unless some busy body ruins it for me!! Lol it has happened once or twice! My point is, do something for yourself. Whatever brings you joy and inner peace. If you are not sure what that is yet, then it’s time for you to find out!! You could start with a walk near water somewhere, if that doesn’t do it for you, maybe somewhere in the countryside, or a bike ride maybe. You could just Google - things to do by myself on my birthday! Or even just - things to do by myself If you can afford it, you could buy yourself a birthday gift! Get a massage! If you can, go to your nearest animal shelter and go and play with kittens! Or puppies, if you prefer dogs! Unless you are someone who really doesn’t like animals, spending an hour or 2 playing with kittens or puppies is enough to make most people happy! If you don’t already have one, you might find yourself wanting to bring a fur baby home with you!! Then you will always have company! Sorry, I know you didn’t ask for ideas of things to do, I just got a bit carried away! Just know that you aren’t alone. If you are feeling low and you want or need someone to talk to, I will chat with you happily, or I am also happy to just listen, if that is what you need. Going thru my own addiction and binging intervention episodes have left me bawling for the past week. So weird bcs u recognise urself even tho I’m actively going through it. Loved that you brought it up and I ALWAYS appreciate Lizzies commentary and perspective on things like these
When I was still in my active addiction/alcoholism I would watch the show Intervention while I got high and drank lol But I'm 10 years clean off drugs and 2 years and 10 months sober from alcohol now and my life is so much better! I was actually submitted to the show Intervention and they chose me to be a subject on their show but the person who submitted me blew the cover and told me it was Intervention before they started filming so they decided they didn't want to have me on the show and then just a few months later a tragedy happened with the person who submitted me (my man of 13 years. He was using with me when he submitted me to the show. He had ODed and VERY nearly died. Was on life support for over a week. Had multiple strokes to his brain from the lack of oxygen to his brain that night before I woke up next to him that morning to find out he had ODed and I couldn't wake him up :( His prognosis wasn't good but a miracle happened and he made a near full recovery and we are still together and sober 13 years later!) People only get clean when THEY want to get clean! Nobody can force them! Wishing you all the best!
Ryland - you do you with the items you buy! I’m pregnant with TWIN BOYS and due in February. I already have two girls at home. There are so many baby items I’m buying now that I didn’t with my other girls because with twins whatever can make your life easier is worth trying. Didn’t use a Baby Brezza in the past and bought one now. You do what works for YOU, SHANE, & the TWINS!

I HIGHLY suggest you getting a copy of the “What to expect. Baby’s first year” - it was literally like a baby Bible for me when my first was born. And this was ‘07 - so we didn’t have internet yet in my apartment 😆 so that book saved me so many times in the middle of the night when I had questions as a new mommy lol ❤❤❤

Lizzie, my dad taught me to take a towel , roll it and stuff it behind the door so no one can open the door. Because if it’s agaisnt carpet they shouldn’t be able to open it. But also please invest in a lock that goes over those doors when you travel. My dad used to work for the government and knows how unsafe it is. Please stay safe.

The bottle maker machines that you were talking about do sometimes over heat the bottles and have been known to burn babies ! With that being said I still suggest the bottle makers ! The bottle maker machines that you were talking about do sometimes over heat the bottles and have been known to burn babies ! With that being said I still suggest the bottle makers ! Just be sure to test the temperature of milk on your inner wrist before putting in baby mouth ! Congratulations to you and Shane! 🎉
