My goodness! I thought BWI was a logistical challenge; this is mind-blowing! I can't comprehend how much time I would need to return the car and make it to the gate on time at LAX (or DFW, MIA, ATL, etc.). You suggested an hour; I'd go with maybe 2.5 and use whatever downtime remained to decompress - at a bar - or something...Holy cow. Tip o' the hat to you, seasoned traveler! 💯💯
Things will be much better once the people mover opens up next year after many delays. Then you can just take the elevator up to the top level of the car rental facility, get on the people mover train to LAX. Looking forward to this and also to the rest of the rental car companies moving in.
The train (it will be called Sky Link) is coming late next year that connects the terminals to the consolidated car rental facility and to light rail. Trains are supposed to be running every three minutes. Be patient. The bus is a temporary solution.
The driver took a longer way. He could’ve continued straight on Arbor Vitae, made a left turn on Sepulveda, pass In-N-Out Burger, and voila.. you’re at LAX!
@@don.claro_ There is a lot of construction going on around LAX and I've also seem them take detours to avoid traffic jams. They have so many buses on the road they radio trafffic conditions to each other.

Hopefully, this is temporary because of the ongoing construction and road closures. But the people mover (I hope) will make it easier.
i saw the new metro station opened on nov 5th
Hi! I need to return the car at 3 or 4 AM. Do you know if the shuttle is working at that time? Thank you!
Out of curiosity, any idea on what a Standard Elite SUV is at Alamo at LAX? I'm seeing so many mixed things
It’s nice, but too far. Is the hertz inside the Hilton on century blvd still there? I’d rather use them.
Why would they drop you off at the first level? This makes no sense at all. Departures are on level 2.
Construction and traffic delays. This will be all sorted in early 2025 once the new people mover train is finished testing and up and running.
@@CarRentalGuy I hope so. But the rental drop-off can and should take you to level 2, NOW.
